{Tag} 11 Things You Didn’t Know

So like, many moons ago, I was tagged in the 11 Things You Didn’t Know tag by the lovely Ashton from Beauty, Books and Babble and because I’m useless I completely glossed over it. But, you know the saying, better late than never right? Ashton has given me 11 random questions to answer which may reveal some things you never ever knew about me… And I’ll be leaving some questions for anyone else who wants to do this tag at the bottom! Enjoy!

What was your first thought when you woke up today?

Food, probably. More often than not, the first thing I think about when I wake up is whether I’m hungry or not and what we might have in the house for breakfast.

You can only use two make up items for the rest of your life. What are they?

Eyebrow pencil; I couldn’t live without it. I literally have like, no eyebrows so it completely transforms my face. The other one would probably be mascara. I would have chosen concealer but if I knew I could only use 2 items of make up forever I’d probably take a lot better care of my skin!

Do you have a hobby that some people might find surprising?

Erm, I don’t really know. I wouldn’t have thought so. All my hobbies are pretty standard I guess; reading, writing, blogging, cooking etc. I don’t know if you’d call it a hobby but I follow Formula 1 religiously. I also used to play the drums, which was such a big passion of mine but unfortunately don’t anymore.

If you could spend the day as someone else, who would it be and why?

Oh good question, very good question. See, it’d be tough to choose whether you’d spend the day as a famous person to see how the other half lives or whether you’d choose someone close to you to see how you come across to them. I think I’d probably choose someone famous because I wouldn’t like to spend the day with myself haha! Emma Watson?

Who is your secret weird, cringy celebrity crush? Come on, we all have one!

Hahaha, I honestly don’t have like a super super weird one but I absolutely love Richard Hammond. Don’t know why, so don’t even ask.

Do you have a certain book that means a lot to you?

All my favourite books mean a lot to me and they’re sitting on my bookshelf in their own little pile. The Book Theif means an awful lot to me. The Perks of Being a Wallflower and my collection of John Green books as well. I actually wrote a blog post about this topic a while back!

If I was to ask someone else what your most annoying habit it, what would they say?

Hahaha I don’t want to know! I fear the list could be endless… Excessive tidy-upping? Jumping to conclusions? Getting overly emotional over nothing? Re-arranging my bookcase 45 times in a month?

A wild night out on the town with cocktails or a cosy night in with a good book?

Cosy night in because I don’t drink so the cocktails would be a bit of a waste of money hehe! I don’t drink when I’m out – I  rarely drink anyway but if I was going to, I would only do it at home or someone else’s house.

Would you rather eat chocolate that tastes like poo or poo that tastes like chocolate?

You’re disgusting. Poo that tastes like chocolate? Oh my God I can’t even think about this without gagging!

What would be your weapon of choice in a zombie apocalypse and why?

Oh, good one! Well… A gun would be good at first but bullets run out and there’s no guarantee you’ll ever get more. I’ll so with a Michonne style Samurai sword.

How many cookies could a good cook cook if a good cook could cook cookies?

Great questions! I had a lot of fun answering them! I’d like to tag Simona, Sophie, Rhianne, Daniella, Danielle and Laura! And your questions are here! If anyone else would like to answer them, please feel free!

  1. Funny post. Eating poo that tastes like chocolate!! Eww!! I wouldn’t think about that in a million years:0

    1. I thought about that questions for much longer than I’d like to admit hahahaha! xx

  2. All of your book choices are sitting on my tbr as a result of that post! Would kill to have ‘cooking’ listed as a hobby, I’m a horrendously disgraceful cook, my kids actually think all food is supposed to be ‘that well done!’ (I overcook so I can never give them food poisoning!)Great post!

    1. Well I really hope my book recommendations don’t disappoint! (: Hahaha, nothing wrong with a bit of overcooking 😉 I admit, I do that sometimes just to be ‘on the safe side’. No one wants a dodgy stomach the next day do they?! xx

  3. I’m totally with you on the first answer, I think it comes from my background, my mum’s from Malaysia and in her culture talking about food, and eating, is so important. While you’re eating breakfast you’re discussing lunch, while you’re having lunch you’re planning dinner, it never stops, its a day long affair of the heart!

    1. I am so with you on that one! Although unfortunately, I can’t use culture or background as my reasons – I’m simply just a big eater hahaha! I bet your mum’s Malaysian food was amazing! xx

      1. Yes, I reckon that’s how I hooked my husband! It was my mum’s cooking!!
