In a hard, hard world, it’s more important than ever to be kind to one another. One tiny act could make someone’s day… Someone that may not have smiled in hours, or at all. Little acts of kindness not only lift another person up but can also give you the feel-good factor, knowing you’ve helped someone and the motivation to do it more often. I know that when I’m feeling low or having a bad day, doing something for someone else always makes me feel better, even though my day hasn’t improved at all. I’ve wrote a little list of tiny acts of kindness that anyone can do that would hopefully brighten someone’s day or help make the world a better place, if just for a moment.

  2. Leave some blog comments on other blogger’s posts

  1. Lovely ideas! The other day I was in a fruit and veg shop and Realised I’d brought the wrong bank card. I was heading to the doctor with my sons and I said that unfortunately I’d have to leave it. They walked out to the car with the fruit and veg and told me not to hurry back with the money. I ended up only getting back a few hours later and they were so nice! It’s like something that you’d assume would have happened years ago! And as for visiting someone old, I’d add surprise them with a little thoughtful gift too, I think everyone likes to think somebody has thought of them when they’ve been away. Great post, Jenny:):):)

  4. I love decluttering and getting rid of stuff I don’t need. I just went through my closet again to take out the clothes I haven’t worn in a while, so they’re about to be donated, plus I donated some books to a free little library in the neighborhood. Plus 2, 5, 8, 9, 10, 13, 18, 22, and 25.
This is actually making me feel good about myself. Yay for small gestures to make the world a better place!
    Love this post! <3

  5. Actually I’ve been on the receiving end. Been in a foul mood on and off this week over remarks made by groups indulging in ignorant (is there are other sort?) racial/social/cultural/religious discrimination. To avoid sinking to their level (in fact worse when I put my back into it) I’ve made sure I spent a couple of hours a day on WordPress and indulged in the fresh air of supportiveness and kindness of others. WordPress might have its fault but you do meet such nice folk hereabouts.

  6. Great list – I think sometimes we all forget how easy it can be just to make someone smile! X

    1. Absolutely (: you don’t know what anyone else is going through really. That little smile or wave or hello could make someone’s day so I figure it’s worth doing it (: xx

  9. I gave some money to an organisation today to help feed & fix stray cats in Himeji Japan. I met some of them too. Omg they were so sweet. It all made me happy. Especially seeing people working to help keep these cats healthy & happy.
