In a hard, hard world, it’s more important than ever to be kind to one another. One tiny act could make someone’s day… Someone that may not have smiled in hours, or at all. Little acts of kindness not only lift another person up but can also give you the feel-good factor, knowing you’ve helped someone and the motivation to do it more often. I know that when I’m feeling low or having a bad day, doing something for someone else always makes me feel better, even though my day hasn’t improved at all. I’ve wrote a little list of tiny acts of kindness that anyone can do that would hopefully brighten someone’s day or help make the world a better place, if just for a moment.

Lovely post. It’s the little things that count. 🙂 x
Definitely agree with that! (: xx
It is the small acts of kindness that make a big difference. Great post! x x
Agreed (: thank you! xx
great list!! I am so trying these. I agree that doing something for someone else always makes me feel better.
Agreed (: it sometimes feels just as good if not better than the other way around xx
Lovely ideas! The other day I was in a fruit and veg shop and Realised I’d brought the wrong bank card. I was heading to the doctor with my sons and I said that unfortunately I’d have to leave it. They walked out to the car with the fruit and veg and told me not to hurry back with the money. I ended up only getting back a few hours later and they were so nice! It’s like something that you’d assume would have happened years ago! And as for visiting someone old, I’d add surprise them with a little thoughtful gift too, I think everyone likes to think somebody has thought of them when they’ve been away. Great post, Jenny:):):)
Aww that’s so nice (: there are nice people in the world! Thank you for your comment (: xx

Thank you (: I’ll check it out xx
I love decluttering and getting rid of stuff I don’t need. I just went through my closet again to take out the clothes I haven’t worn in a while, so they’re about to be donated, plus I donated some books to a free little library in the neighborhood. Plus 2, 5, 8, 9, 10, 13, 18, 22, and 25.
This is actually making me feel good about myself. Yay for small gestures to make the world a better place!
Love this post! <3
Hehe glad you liked the post and you can relate to some of the points! I live donating to charity too (: xx
Actually I’ve been on the receiving end. Been in a foul mood on and off this week over remarks made by groups indulging in ignorant (is there are other sort?) racial/social/cultural/religious discrimination. To avoid sinking to their level (in fact worse when I put my back into it) I’ve made sure I spent a couple of hours a day on WordPress and indulged in the fresh air of supportiveness and kindness of others. WordPress might have its fault but you do meet such nice folk hereabouts.
Oh no I hope this is a better week for you! Blogging can be a great pick me up with so many amazing, inspiring bloggers out there (: xx
Great list – I think sometimes we all forget how easy it can be just to make someone smile! X
Absolutely! One tiny thing can go a long way (: xx
Great list, great post. especially love number 25. That is so important in life. Be well.
It really is important, being kind to ourselves, not being too hard on ourselves and believing in ourselves is just as important (: xx
So true. Great post.
Such a good idea! Love this 🙂 xx
Thank you (: xx

we should all be a little kinder. and a smile costs nothing. Have a great week xx
Thank you (: I agree, you too! xx
Lovely post! I love the little things and it’s a definite reminder that a little bit of kindness can make someone’s day 🙂 Tina X
Absolutely (: you don’t know what anyone else is going through really. That little smile or wave or hello could make someone’s day so I figure it’s worth doing it (: xx
Definitely! 🙂 xx
Great list, and so easy to do to make someone’s day. I sometimes send my far away family a ‘good morning’ text, just to say have a nice day.
Amanda.
Aww so simple but so nice (: xx
25 brilliant ideas, everyone should do them today…

Aww I love the idea of happy mail! I think I’d like to try that myself this year (: xx
I gave some money to an organisation today to help feed & fix stray cats in Himeji Japan. I met some of them too. Omg they were so sweet. It all made me happy. Especially seeing people working to help keep these cats healthy & happy.
Awww that’s lovely! Such a shame but it’s great to know there’s people out there working to help and kind people like you willing to donate (: xx
