I’m just going to put it out there… Bloggers love stationery. Specifically, notebooks. I challenge you to try and find a blogger who isn’t even the tiniest bit in love with notebooks of all different shapes and sizes for all different purposes. I definitely fall into that category and whilst I’ve always loved stationery and even in school I always loved to keep my notebooks in perfect condition and whenever something when slightly wrong; my writing wasn’t neat enough or the pen colour didn’t match it made me ever so sad, I think since blogging, I’ve become even more of a notebook addict. I recently wrote about my blogging essentials where I specifically mention that I couldn’t survive without my various notebooks.
I was asked if I wanted to review a notebook the other week. So obviously I said yes. Stationery? MORE stationery? Gimmie, gimmie, gimmie! But these were pocket notebooks, of which I have none. My writing is quite big and I tend to write a lot so I’ve never really looking into getting a pocket sized notebook for myself. But I’ve never had a reason to have one before. I received the Rhodiarama A6 notebook from Pocket Notebooks, an online store that sells… you guessed it, stationery and notebooks. They sell a huge variety of different brands from all over the world. The Rhodia notebook I received was actually founded in France.
The notebook is the perfect handbag size and with carrying a fairly decent sized handbag, this would never take up too much room or weight. I decided to use this as a blogging notebook as I would love to get into writing a bit more, jotting down ideas with a pen and paper rather than writing it down on my phone. It’s much more authentic and I wonder whether it will impact my creativity side of blogging. Who knows. But it’s worth a try. And this is a great way to start.
I love the colour of this notebook too – I expected it to be black for some reason so I was super surprised but thrilled to see it was a gorgeous bluey turquoise colour and the inside were zebra print! Another really nice touch was this little “pocket” at the back where you could store receipts or loose bits of paper that you don’t want to lose. That’s very nice, very nice indeed. The quality of the notebook as well is fantastic; the cover is strong and the pages inside are thick and not flimsy whatsoever. If you’re after a high quality decent sized with plenty of pages notebook, I would highly recommend this one. At £7.50, it’s not expensive and definitely worth the money in my opinion. To pop in your handbag for blogging purposes, groceries lists, daily reminders – this would be perfect.

Notebooks, I will prefer makeup palette over a notebook. I am obessed with notebooks and stationary. I would love to do a blog on it
[…] some time – but here’s a few photos of the products which were sent to me, including: Rhodiarama Pocket Notebook, Urtekram’s Nordic Berries Organic range of products, which I will be reviewing this month […]
I am totally another blogger who is obsessed with notebooks, I love all the ones from Coconut Lane especially. This one is super cute and I love the pattern on the inside of it x

It really is x
You are not helping my ban on buying stationary! I have a thing for bright notebooks (and shiny) so this is perfect <3 I like the size too, like you said perfect for popping in your bag and compulsively right lists in 😛 xx
Lists lists lists! It’s so perfect for that! (: xx
I am a notebook hoarder, I have a little collection going at the moment so this post was perfect for me! Such a pretty colour and inside! I type all my ideas but I’d love to go back to pen and paper and write more, it’s a dying art form as they say. Thanks for sharing! x

That looks like a gorgeous little book, and I love the pocket at the back. Stationary is the best thing ever.
The pocket is brilliant ain’t it? Perfect for those receipts you need to keep handy!
I am a sucker for a good bit of stationary. I have been obsessed since I was a little kid now I love Mossery and Moleskine for planners and diaries and Muji for all things pen galore!! But that notebook you have is absolutely adorable such lovely colours !
It is isn’t it? I was so impressed with the colours! Will have to have a look at those brands you mention.
That notebook looks gorgeous, I love the colours too!
Aren’t they gorgeous colours? And the zebra print!
I need this notebook in my life, but I already have a box full of pretty books that I haven’t used yet! It’s a problem!
It is a bit of a catch 22 isn’t it!
Rhodia notebooks have the most incredible smooth paper. Perfect match for a fountain pen loaded with a distinctive ink.
I haven’t wrote with a fountain pen in years, since school! I’d love a new one.
Know the feeling! Wish I could use them up quicker so I could get new ones 🙂
Same! I don’t have enough to write it them all.
Oh yes! Stationary and NOTEBOOKS are definitely a small obsession of mine 😂 I love to buy notebooks Even if I don’t use them for months bc I already habe a gazilion notebooks to write in first 💖 Notebooks ar are the best, all shapes and sizes are welcome, except for the really small ones because they are jut too small and I don’t lìke it when I can’t open the notebook fully. What are your favorite notebooks? Glued or spiral spine?
I like ring bound notebooks because it’s easier to tear pages out you don’t want or need anymore without making it look messy!
It looks great. My sister bought me a brand new notebook this month – half of it is white and the other is black. It’s absolutely beautiful.
Ooh, sounds lovely! I love getting notebooks as gifts too.
