Throughout July, I was very lucky to receive some amazing things in the post. As a blogger, as I’m sure a lot of you will understand, post time can be your favourite time of day and the postman can become your best friend. I get along really well with my postman now as he’s always bringing me parcels! Anyway, I worked with some great brands and received some amazing books in the post this past month so I wanted to share them with you here along with some other goodies! I’m also thinking of maybe doing one of these ‘stuff hauls’ every month! What do you think?

Giveaway prizes

I think the most incredible thing to grace my front door this month was the giveaway prizes I won from @LadyWrites_Blog on Twitter. I’m not new to the odd giveaway win but this was £150 worth of beauty products and it  blew my socks off. I was so incredibly lucky to win all of this and it included products from M.A.C, Rimmel, Paul & Joe, Kiko, Mugler, Clinique and so much more. I’ve already started using some of the products and I still can’t quite believe I won them all. I also won a few books this month including, “The Dry” by Jane Harper which im’m incredibly excited to read and “George” by Alex Gino which looks incredible as well.

Product reviews

I also worked with a couple of brands this month which I’m not going to go into huge detail about here and I will have individual blog posts up for each of them – which are either already up or will be up in August some time – but here’s a few photos of the products which were sent to me, including: Rhodiarama Pocket Notebook, Urtekram’s Nordic Berries Organic range of products, which I will be reviewing this month and a bunch of tea’s from We Are Tea which again, I will be reviewing this month (and you’ll also see much better photos of these products than the quick ones I took for this post!)

Review copies

I’ve also been extremely lucky to receive some review copies this month and I’m going to start with the one that literally made me cry which is the proof copy – the first ever physical proof copy – of Lynsey James’ new book, “The Season of Hopes and Dreams” (I know the cover says different but the title got altered shortly after printing!) and a lovely letter from Lynsey to go with it. I am so proud of this girl and I can’t wait to read this book. Also, how stunning is the cover?

I also received Last Seen Alive by Claire Douglas which I have already read and reviewed here (spoiler alert: it’s incredible) and Close to Me by Amanda Reynolds which I’m super excited about starting!

Other

I also ordered myself some really cute paper and envelopes from eBay as I’m going to start a little letter writing project (which should be semi underway by the time this post goes live). I love these and can’t wait to get some sent out! I should have a post up with more details about this project this month, yay!

Did you receive anything cool in the post in July? If you’ve done a post similar to this, please do link it in the comments! Have you tried any 0f these products? Let me know!

    1. Oooh yay best of luck! I’m sure you’ll be working with brands in no time! Reaching out to them is good though, so many people don’t but the worst they can say is no and you’ll never know until you try? xxx

  5. I loooove these posts, I’m so nosy. I did win a big set of cleaning products from these nice Eco friendly cleaning people which is useful although tbh I’m not any better at cleaning haha. That was it for this month though, fingers crossed for August!

  6. Congrats on winning those goodies! I have two of the L’Oréal Matte liquid lipsticks and I think for drugstore they are pretty darn good!

  7. These are amazing products! I’m jealous! I’ve only started blogging not even a month ago so I haven’t received anything (yet) but hopefully, it’ll happen at some point! These are very nice products, especially the books (I’m a sucker for a good book) so do let me know if they’re good when you finish them!

    1. It’ll happen. I didn’t receive anything until well over a year after blogging – it’s hard work but it’ll pay off (: I’ll definitely be reviewing the books when I’m done! xxx

    1. Haha I’m honestly still shook about it! I usually win a book or 2 every now and again but 150 quids worth of stuff?!?! Never! I’ve tried a few of the teas – I have a post up about them this month xx

  9. Bookmarking this post. I might be interested in a couple of the books mentioned! You’ll probably finish Close to Me before I even buy it, but I’m super interested in that one just by the cover.

  10. Wow, you’ve been super lucky with your giveaway wins and PR sends this month! I LOVE that makeup bag you won. It’s so pretty! I received a Rhodia a6 dotted notebook in silver for Christmas, and it looks amazing, but I haven’t touched it yet because I know how expensive they are and I don’t want to mess it up. I’ve just seen that your review of this has already gone up, so I’m definitely gonna give it a read in a minute, haha.

  11. I listened to the Audiobook of The Dry for my July Bookclub, it was a really good listen! I imagine it stands up just as well on paper too. It’s a great book, even better since you won it! Hope you enjoy 🙂

  12. Wow you’ve received some really things! That giveaway is incredible, well done you for winning all of that! Really love the idea of putting new blogs on the bottom of your post, I’ve opened them all and I’m going to spend some time reading them. Thanks! 🙂 X
