The Harry Potter Tag!

I found this tag on Rebecca’s blog, This Booky Place and loved it so although I wasn’t tagged myself, I’m going to do it anyway because lol rebel. I’m not going to tag anyone myself but if you wanna have a go, please do and link me to your post so I can see your answers!

1. What house are you in?

Slytherin. I am a Slytherin through and through. I’ve signed up to Pottermore twice (forgot all my details first time, idiot) and I’ve been sorted into Sytherin both times. I’ve also never had the option to choose right at the end of the quiz; where my boyfriend and my mum both did. I’ve just been put in Slytherin without a choice.

2. What is your Patronus?

My Patronus is a Mastiff (that’s a breed of dog, in case you didn’t know by some weird chance).

3. What is your wand?

My wand is: Hornbeam wood with a Unicorn hair core, 10″ and Surprisingly Swishy flexibility.

4. What would your boggart be?

This is a great question, I wish they’d create a quiz for this on Pottermore. If it could somehow transform into the unknown, then that’s my boggart.

5. What position would you play in Quiddich?

Hmm, definitely not a Seeker – that’s too much pressure and attention! Not a Keeper either because I’d definitely let everything in the hoops. I’m not great with a bat, so probably a Chaser.

6. Would you be a pure-blood, half-blood or muggle born?

Well, going by how consistently I’m put into Slytherin with literally every quiz I take, I’d probably say pure-blood. But my mum likes Harry Potter and my dad isn’t interested so it’s probably more so half-blood.

7. What job would you want to have after leaving Hogwarts?

Owning a magical book shop in Diagon Alley. Or if I’m going for something a bit more ambitious maybe a teacher; transfiguration?

8. Which of the Deathly Hallows would you choose?

Probably the cloak or the wand. I wouldn’t want the responsibility of the tone. It feels like it’d be a burden.

9. Favourite book?

I’ve not read all of them *hides* but from the one’s I have read, probably The Chamber of Secrets.

10. Least favourite book?

Order of the Phoenix

11. Favourite film?

Again, probably Chamber of Secrets. I just love the storyline in that book/film. But I also loved The Half Blood Prince as a film, I think that was done really well.

12. Least favourite film?

Order of the Phoenix. I just think that one is generally… boring.

13. Favourite character?

Hermione but I’ve always had a soft spot for Hagrid too.

14. Least favourite/most hated character?

Umbridge, obviously?!

15. Favourite teacher at Hogwarts?

Professor McGonagall, always. Powerful, strong women all the way! Or Professor Lupin.

16. Least favourite teacher at Hogwarts?

Can I say Umbridge again?

17. Do you have any unpopular opinions about the series?

Umm… not really. I haven’t seen The Cursed Child and don’t really want to. Is that an unpopular opinion? I thought Fantastic Beast was good but it wasn’t Harry Potter.

There we go! What house are you in? Favourite characters / favourite book or film? Leave me some comments and let’s discuss Harry Potter!

  1. I am a total Hufflepuff who loves order of The Pheonix book haha- are we opposites? Lets face it Slytherin have the best colour combo going on though. I read the Cursed Child, I can’t say I was overly impressed *hides*, I can see how it would be impressive as a production though which is more important with plays I guess; but the whole separate acts and touting fiasco puts me off even trying to see it.

  2. The two of us sound so similar! I’m a Slytherin with a dog patronus (beagle) and deep-rooted hate for Umbridge (though who doesn’t hate Umbridge).
I think The Half-Blood Prince is sooo underrated. We really get some in-depth info about Snape’s past and what drives him, which is great considering him being one of the most complicated characters in the series! That brings me… what do you think of Snape? Do you hate him or love him? 🙂
