I really really enjoyed writing and working on my January goals last month. I found that setting myself small and realistic goals worked absolute wonders. No huge resolutions over here in 2018, no sir-ee! So I wanted to continue the momentum into February and start the month with my February goals list! Again, these are all fairy small and doable – you won’t find any “jump out of a plane” on here!

1. Hit 9k on Twitter: At the time of writing, I’m on 8.7k so that gives me about a month and half. Eeek, I’d better go get Tweeting some seriously good stuff!

2. Read 5 books: More ambitious than January’s 4, also considering this month is shorter. Wish me luck!

3. Hit a certain amount of savings (again): As you can see, this one has cropped up on both of my lists, I’m taking my savings very seriously this year. I’m not going to reveal the amount I want to hit by the end of February but I’ve got it in mind.

4. Hit 4,700 blog followers: Again, at the time of writing I currently have 4,446 – so I think this is doable, providing I continue working hard at my content!

5. Bake something: I haven’t done any baking in absolutely ages! It’s about time I get back into the kitchen and rustle up some yummy treats.

6. Treat myself to something: As in like, actually buy something for myself. For no other reason than I just want it. I am horrible for not treating myself like I literally can’t remember the last time I bought myself anything!

7. Go to the library: I haven’t been to the library in forever, shamefully. I wanna pop in and sniff the books. I also want to try and find a book about the history of Yoga (or something like that) so there’s an excuse to go!

8. Complete all Spyro PS1 games: Bit of a silly one but I am a sucker for old-school PlayStation one games. My favourites were always Spyro the Dragon, I am the Queen of those games and must have completed them 40 times over, each. But… it’s my little guilty pleasure and my way of zoning out.

There we go! Another low-key, small and achievable list of goals I’d like to hit in February. What goals do you want to achieve this February? Let me know!

  2. This is totally random… but what are those jeweled hearts in the picture above? They’re so pretty! I couldn’t stop looking at them! Also, good luck with your goals.💖 —https://emilyryannblogblog.wordpress.com/

  3. These are some great goals! I’ve been following you for awhile on HAZEARELLA’s twitter account and I love seeing you reach your follower goals! I reminds me that if I’d just quit being lazy I’m not a hopeless case lmao! Though I suppose moving blogs and twitter accounts and ig accounts doesn’t really help either lol!

  4. Another excellent set of goals Jenny. I really love number 6 – it is so important to take a bit of ‘me time’ and to be kind to yourself. You work so hard and achieve so much, you deserve a treat! Hope you have a wonderful month.

  5. Good luck with all of your goals! One of mine is the complete opposite to yours – treat myself LESS. I’m a shopaholic *hides* Also, I can’t remember the last time I went to my local library either which is shameful.

  6. Oh I know you’ll be able to smash all of these goals! Your tweets are some of my fave so your followers will defo hit that goal this month!

  7. Such a good idea to go for goals you know you’ll achieve, but my favourite has to be going to the library – we used to go all the time but for some reason have fallen out of the habit. Your post has reminded me that we need to start going again – we have a really good one in Frome and at the rate Flora goes through books it’s the most viable option, haha. Good luck with your goals this month, I’m sure you’ll reach them all xx

  11. Setting monthly goals is a great idea & something to keep you going throughout the month. I work out of local Glasgow libraries & I absolutely being in that environment. You can switch off, embrace the peace & quite & tune into a good book.

  12. Have tbh haven’t been to a Library 📚 for many years such a shame as I spent many a Saturday as a youngster devouring books 😂 anyhow had to print my boarding cards for coming away and went to the local Library near my home which I’d never visited before and was amazed with what they offered Library Card all updated will be visiting more often now 😊

  13. Great post! I love the idea of setting monthly goals. I haven’t been to the library in ages, you’ve reminded me to go now! I love browsing around and discovering books I haven’t heard of before. I’m definitely trying to read more too. I love how you’ve covered a wide range of goals from blogging to personal ones. Best of luck with them! You’ve got this!

  14. All very realistic goals. I can relate to a lot of them – reading a certain amount, saving a certain amount and I want to do some baking at some point. I wish you luck with all your goals x

  16. I love this idea, Jenny. I love your site name too. You’re in Neverland, I’m in LaLa Land, perhaps we are neighbors 🙂

  17. I think it’s great that you’re not pressuring yourself to read more! You’re giving yourself a good chance to enjoy what you *want* to read 🤗 Also way to go on building your savings! I spent my twenties blowing extra money and realize now what I could have saved if I’d thought twice before going on those shopping sprees….🙄 oh well, hindsight!

  18. Good luck with all your goals! If you bake something yummy I would love to see a recipie post! If that’s something you would be interested in doing? 💖💗

  19. Oh my golly! I’m seriously impressed! I think I’m going to have to take a leaf out of your book and actually start writing them down. In fact I’d better think of some. Goodness, you know I don’t think I set myself any monthly goals … just daily list of jobs I have to get done. Right, major rethink time, thanks for the post! (And as for the number of followers you have …. wow! I’ve only just started this blogging thing, almost one month in now and have about 80 followers – clearly I’ve got quite a bit to learn! Suffice to say however, I’m just loving, absolutely loving the writing and the reading of everyone’s posts!). Happy Friday!

    1. Oh I have daily to do lists as well, I like to keep my monthly goals a separate thing. Congrats on starting your blogging journey! I’ve been blogging for over 4 years so I’ve had plenty of time to build my followers up! You’ll get there (: xx

      1. Hi! Just started my own blogging on motivation and poetry and yes(selfie),, but how do I get bloggers to look at my site??? I’m feeling discouraged 😞
