YouTuber’s I’m loving right now

I think the wonderful thing about YouTube is that there’s always someone new to discover and there’s always someone to watch to cater to your needs and interests at any particular point in time. I’m always fascinated by how our tastes change and the same goes for YouTube as well. Last year, I wrote a post about my favourite YouTuber’s and whilst I still do watch a few of those, the vast majority, I actually don’t. They were my favourites at the time but I just can’t relate to them anymore and that’s okay. So I wanted to do an updated post and share with you the YouTuber’s I’m enjoying at the moment!

Emily Hayward: I discovered Emily through the Channel 4 documentary ‘Fighting Cancer: My Online Diary‘, which was an incredible but emotional documentary which followed a few people through their cancer journey. Emily being one of them. Emily is so likable and watchable I almost see her channel as ‘a cancer channel that isn’t about cancer’. I find her incredibly inspiring as well, would 100% recommend.

Katie Snooks: Katie Snook’s vlogs are my jam right now. Katie is such a lovely girl to watch on YouTube, she’s so relatable and just lovely to watch. I know, I’ve said lovely twice in one sentence. I love how close she is with her family and her vlogs desperately make me want to be a part of that!

Shane Dawson: What did I do before I discovered Shane Dawson? I honestly don’t know. I binge watched Shane’s conspiracy theory and ‘creepy’ videos and now he’s ghost hunting videos are what I live for. If I want to switch off and have a laugh, then Shane is definitely the YouTuber I go to for that.

Hannah Witton: I’ve been watching Hannah for quite a while now, you’ve probably heard of her and I really admire her as a person, a business-woman and an advocate. She talks about some super duper important topics as well as light-hearted and fun videos. Her recent videos about her surgery have been really good and interesting too. And I’m glad to hear she’s doing okay!

Raw Alignment: Alyse is not the typical YouTuber I would watch. I’m not Vegan (or Vegetarian) – which Alyse is and focuses a lot of her channel on. But I watch Alyse which such awe. Although I don’t necessarily agree with everything she says, her videos on vision, self love, acceptance and manifestation are ones I’m particularly drawn to. I also love her vlogs and if I need a bit of a spiritual pick me up, Alyse is the one I go to. I always feel mentally good after watching her videos.

Lucy Wood: Lucy Wood is without a doubt one of the most naturally funny people on YouTube. I think she deserves 3 times the subscribers she has for that reason alone. I bloody love Lucy, she’s so relatable. Like SO relatable. She doesn’t mind saying things how they are and definitely doesn’t pretend she lives some luxurious YouTuber lifestyle, which I don’t know about you but I’m a little tired of seeing!

Do you watch any of these people? Do you have any other recommendations for me? Let me know!

  1. I’ve been watching Shane Dawson for years and years, and I totally agree that at the moment he’s producing some of his best work and the most entertaining stuff on YouTube. I also really love Hannah, she is the type of person I secretly wish I was friends with!

  2. I don’t know how you feel abt fitness youtubers but Sarah’s Day focuses a lot of health and listening to your body on her channel and she’s a real source of happiness on a harsh day.

  3. I have to be honest I don’t watch many YouTubers, it’s something I haven’t explored yet. But to add to your recommendations my pal Rosie Kaloki is ultra witty and fabulous at YouTube beauty reviews x x x

  4. I don’t watch YouTube as a rule, unless I’ve had to Google a “How to” video – like today, how to replace a Samsung Galaxy S6 battery (answer, don’t, take it to a phone repair shop!). I think it’s a legacy of having to edit so many videos in a previous job – these days I prefer to read rather than watch 🙂

  5. I wish I could get into watching ‘youtubers’ but it just isn’t my thing. I mean, I still watch the ones I started watching way back when I was first flailing about on the internet (mostly Jenna Marbles) but other than that I just can’t keep up.

  6. I love watching Katie too she is one of my faves 🙂 I haven’t heard of Raw Alignment but this channel sounds like something I would like so I think I’m gonna check her out! I still watch Alfie Deyes (Pointless Blog) daily regardless!

  7. Is it weird that I am watching less and less YouTube at the moment?! I don’t know what’s happened to me! I am defo gonna have a YouTube evening or morning and all of your recommendations are going on the list
