Father’s Day is literally round the corner so if you haven’t already, now is probably the time to grab some gifts for the Dad, Granddad or Father figure in your life! We’ve never really put a huge emphasis on Father’s Day in our family but I always make sure I get my Dad a few gifts, to show him that I love him and appreciate everything he’s done for me over the years. If gifts aren’t your thing, maybe you can just make sure the Father figure in your life knows how much you care in some other way. Anyway, here are the gifts I’ll be giving my Dad this Sunday for Father’s Day and some suggestions if you’re stuck for ideas yourself!
Personalized Multi Tablet & Phone Holder – Prezzybox
Personalised Multi Tablet & Phone Holder £42.95
I can’t actually take credit for this idea because I originally found it on Of Beauty and Nothingness’ Father’s Day gift guide at the end of last month and thought it was a fab idea and something my Dad would probably find really useful, as he regularly uses his tablet. I’m sure I’ve used Prezzybox a few times in the past for gifts as they really do have such a huge range! This tablet holder is made from really solid wood, is exceptionally built and also allows personalized engraving so you can really make it personal.
Card – Love Layla
Because of Me Father’s Day card £3.75
Since discovering Love Layla last year, they have become my go-to for cards. I could spend hours scrolling through the hilarious cards on the website! If, like me, your family aren’t particularly sentimental and emotional then the hilarious and often crude cards from Love Layla should be right up your street! I had a few to chose from for my Dad’s card but in the end, I went with this one. And I think it’s pretty accurate. Love Layla also do free shipping on all UK orders, which I think is great!
Banjo Brown Suede Mule Slipper – LAZY dogz
Banjo Brown Suede Mule Slipper £30 (*)
I think it’s safe to say we all have a male in our lives that can always be found with a cuppa in their hand and slippers on their feet. That’s definitely my Dad, so new slippers are always a good option when it comes to gifts. LAZY dogz are a leading footwear retailer who sell incredibly high-quality and comfortable slippers – for men and women – and for every pair they sell, they currently donate £1 to Manchester Dogs Home, which was tragically burnt down in 2014, which I think is an incredible thing to do. You can get 20% off all LAZY dogz products to support this campaign, including their amazing slippers and their new BEACH dogz range! (The slippers didn’t arrive in time for the post but when they do, I’ll be including my own photos!)
Not on the High Street items £25 or under
I’ve always loved Not on the High Street as a place to guy gifts for people, especially some more unusual items which you might not find in regular high-street shops (hence the name… duh). But I know that NOtHS can be a bit pricey with some of their products so I had a little look and picked out a couple of sweet Father’s Day items for under £25 which would make the perfect gifts!
Personalised Morse Code Message Keyring £12 – perfect for the sentimental Dad
Personalised Wooden Chopping Board £23 – perfect for the foodie Dad
New Daddy Book £13 – perfect for the new Dad
Favourite Song Colour Wave Print £25 – perfect for the musical Dad
What will you be giving your Dad / Father figure this Sunday? If you’re a Dad yourself, let me know what the best gift you’ve ever received on Father’s Day was!
