Mockberg Women’s Alicia Watch ft. First Class Watches

Watches can be a real statement piece of jewelry and fashion and I believe that everyone should own a really nice watch at least once in their life. I’ve been through my fair share; nothing expensive or fancy by certainly watches that highlighted my style at the time (which was Grunger chic – 16 year-old me was cool bro). My last watch was a brown leather strap with a pirates map in the face and although I bloody loved that watch, it’s safe to say I’ve come a long way since then. And don’t really partake in pirate fashion anymore. 

First Class Watches approached me a week or two ago to ask if I’d be interested in reviewing one of their watches. Obviously I said yes (otherwise this post is going to be a bit short and pointless) and that brought me to the next step of the process. The brand outreach with First Class Watches was amazing and they hand picked 5 options for me to chose from but was very clear that if I didn’t like any of them enough then they’d look for others.

Luckily, they seemed to have got my style down to an absolute ‘T’ and I was blown away by the watches they had chosen for me to pick from. They had clearly done their research and I liked all the watches they picked out for me – some more than others – and eventually narrowed it down to two, both of which were rose gold before I finally settled on the Mockberg Women’s Alicia Dark Grey * watch. This isn’t a brand I’d previously heard of but I was keen to see what they were like and the quality of their products.

Postage was outrageously quick; I had selected my watch at around 2pm on Wednesday and by lunchtime on Thursday I was holding it in my hands which was incredible. I really loved the outer packaging; it came in a nice velvet-y type box with the simple Mockberg branding and logo on the front. The watch itself was it perfect condition when it arrived so 10/10 for delivery as well.

I loved it even more in real life than I did by the photos and wanted to wear it as soon as possible. I absolutely love the rose gold and grey colour combination – pink and gold look fantastic in any setting but on a watch the rose gold details really stand out. The strap is super comfy with perfectly positioned holes – I usually have to wear watches and bracelets on the smallest hole because my wrists are so tiny and the smallest setting fit perfectly for me. It sits really nicely on my wrist, is comfortable and not too big and chunky. It’s the kind of watch you’d forget you were wearing for those reasons.

Another thing I want to point out is that since having a look at other Mockberg watches and reading the little instructions manual that came with mine, I’m led to believe that you can take the strap off from the rose gold fastenings and if you had other Mockberg straps, would potentially mix and match straps with faces. Which I think is a really lovely, unique idea!

I honestly don’t have a single bad thing to say about this company or the watch I received. From beginning to end, the process of communicating with the brand outreach department, to picking my watch, to delivery and finally to trying the product was absolutely flawless. I don’t think I could have picked a nicer watch out for myself and I’m so impressed with the quality, the elegant effortless style of the watch itself and the totally professionalism from the company. All in all, I’d say that’s a pretty successful brand collaboration!
