As someone who’s never really done collaborations with other bloggers on their blog before, this month I have a grand total of TWO! Can you believe it? I’ve really enjoyed these posts and I’d love to collaborate with more bloggers in the future. So today’s post, is a little collab with one of the sweetest bloggers on the entire planet. If you love anything Disney, the she’s the person to go to for all the amazing Disney content. I mean, obviously the only person I could be talking about here is Lize in Disneyland isn’t it?! Obviously our collab had to be Disney related and having both been to Disneyland Paris, today we’re both posting about our ideal day at Disneyland Paris. And it’s giving me all the nostalgia and all the feels. As soon as you’re done here, do head over to her blog and check out her post! Anyway, let’s head to Disneyland!

Waking up

So obviously, I’m going to be waking up in the Disneyland Hotel. I’ve been to Disneyland Paris 3 times and each time I’ve stayed in Santa Fé – which is a great hotel and definitely perfect for if you’re on a budget but staying in the Disneyland Hotel would be a dream. Just a standard room will do, I’m not planning on spending much time in it!

Breakfast

After getting ready for the day, I’d head to Main Street to have a Disney character breakfast at the Plaza Gardens Restaurant!

Park time!

I’d start with the Disneyland Park and head straight for Peter Pan’s Flight as my first ride of the day. Each and every time I’ve visited, this has always been my first ride so I’d like to keep to that tradition!

Fantasyland

After Peter Pan’s flight, I’d stay in Fantasyland for the morning and do some of the cute little attractions that I enjoy like Alice’s Curious Labyrinth, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups and the Carousel.

11:15: Meet and greet with Winnie the Pooh and friends!

I love meeting Pooh and the gang at Disneyland, so I’d definitely carve out time in my day to ensure I can meet them and take a few pics! My favourite is Tigger but unfortunately I haven’t managed to get a photo with him yet! So maybe in this fantasy visit I can.

Lunch

Assuming the character meet takes a little while, I’m guessing by the time it’s finished it’ll be time for lunch! I’ve not tried an awful lot of restaurants etc at Disneyland Paris because I’ve always taken loads of my own food into the park (on a budget yo) but if money was no object, I’d head into Pizzeria Bella Notte for a quick pizza to fill me up!

Frontierland

After lunch, I’d head to Frontierland which is arguably, my favourite land! I’d start with the Riverboat and have a relaxing cruise around the lake and take some photos whilst my lunch goes down before heading to my favourite ride of them all…

Big Thunder Mountain

I absolutely love Big Thunder Mountain, it’s definitely my favourite ride in the whole of Disneyland. It’s just so much fun, I love the theme and flying through the tunnel.

Walt Disney Studios Park

Now because this is only one day, I’ve had to cut out quite a lot of what I would want to do to fit in my absolute favorites so unfortunately, I’d have to skip out Adventureland and Discoveryland (sorry Space Mountain!) and head on over to the Walt Disney Studios to go on…

Crushes Coaster

Another one of my absolute favourite rides at Disneyland Paris, I just think Crushes Coaster is SO much fun so I’d always make time for that!

Toy Story

After Crushes Coaster I’d probably head to the Toy Story land (what’s it’s official name?!) and have some fun on the rides in there before stopping for dinner. The race car ride was still being built last time I was there so I’d love to have a go on that!

Parade

I have absolutely no idea what the parade timetable is like at Disneyland Paris at the moment but watching the parade is always one of my favourite parts of the day! So after the fun of the Walt Disney Studios, I’d head back to the Disneyland Park and get a good spot (and maybe an ice cream) and watch the parade!

Dinner

I’d definitely head to Annette’s Diner for dinner. I’ve been there before and absolutely loved it. I love the 50’s theme and the proper American diner style food. Plus it’s super Instagrammable!

Shopping

And before heading back to the hotel I’d definitely have a mosey around the shops down Main Street. Although merch can be so expensive at Disneyland Paris, there’s nothing like strolling around the shops, without a care in the world at the end of the day. And maybe bump into a character or two.

I really hope you enjoyed this post! If you’ve been to Disney and enjoy the attractions etc that I’ve mentioned, do let me know! I’d love to hear your favourites and what you’d include in your ideal day at Disneyland Paris!

* Please note, hardcore Disney fans that I haven't been to Disneyland Paris in years, I don't know the current schedule / ride closures and some of the times mentioned may be wrong so don't @ me because quite frankly, I don't give a sh*t because it was fun to write.

  1. This day sounds absolutely fabulous! I’ve never got to ride Big Thunder Mountain before because it was closed on my last trip so it’s a must do this time. I’m glad you included Crush’s Coaster because it was my favourite ride and although the wait times are always super long noone really talks about how good it is! I went on the RC Racer ride last time and it was surprisingly good even though I was super scared before getting on it. I’m hoping to do the Winnie the Pooh meet this time when I’m bounding as him too so fingers crossed I get to meet him! Great post lovely!

  3. Love that you enjoyed your day at Disneyland Paris!~ I think it’s neat that all of the Disneylands around the world have strong consistency. Oooh, big fan of Frontierland and Big Thunder! It’s so cool that you got to do so much in a day! It is so crowded at Disneyland in California that we’re lucky to get a few rides . @__@ .

  4. Okay. I know next to nothing about Disneyland so a lot of this made literally no sense to me at all. I’ve only been once and I was 5 so I can remember about 5 minutes of a 5 day trip. But, from what I’ve seen in vlogs/ blog posts, the Disney hotel looks amazing! Even as someone who isn’t a huge Disney fan, I’d love to stay once just for the experience x

  9. This sounds like a perfect day indeed! I’ve always wanted to visit Disney parks in other countries. I know there was be a lot of familiarity given the characters and all that, but I’m just fascinated by the idea of seeing something familiar in some place foreign and seeing what little (or big!) differences there might be!

  10. This is such a lovely post Jenny and it bought back all my Disney memories! I’ve been twice and once I stayed in the Santa Fé as well, I remember it was a nice hotel. A couple of years ago I went with my sister and we did quite a few things on your list. I loved the Toy Story area, my favourite part was getting to meet Buzz and having our photos taken. The parade is always amazing and yay for pizza! Great collab and thank you for sharing your perfect day <3 xx

  11. Oh wow, this is another dream collab! I’ve never actually been to DLP but, weirdly, I recognise a lot of the attractions you’ve picked because the company I used to work for arranged educational school trips to DLP for Science, Maths, Languages etc. Seriously! There’s a lot of science and maths involved in a roller coaster (forces, motion) as well as design. Sadly, I was never invited along but maybe one day, if Flora begs hard enough, haha. Fab fantasy post, Jenny, I’m heading over to Lize’s blog now! xx

    1. Wow what a school trip! I went on lots of great trips but never as good as Disneyland haha! I’m aware of the science behind rollercoasters, I’m quite interested in G force and that sorta stuff through F1 haha! xxx

  12. This sounds like an amazing trip! I stayed at The Sequoia Lodge when I went to DLP a few years ago, and that was great, but the actual Disneyland hotel would be a dream!

I think I would spend the day visiting all the Disney themed food establishments, riding the Phantom Manor, and just generally taking in the atmosphere of Disney!

It’s a must do for my next trip. You have such a fun filled schedule here, I want to take you on my trip with me next year! Lize | lizeindisneyland.wordpress.com

      1. I’ve always been quite scared of the more thrilling rides but after Pleasure Beach last week I realised I’m being scared for nothing. It’s a must do on my birthday trip!
