I truly cannot believe that I’m sitting here, at the end of September, working on Christmas content. The fact that it’s the end of September (at the time of writing) is bad enough because where has this year gone but we all know how insanely quick Christmas comes around each year. And I don’t know about you but I feel like it’s been on overdrive this year with everyone getting excited far earlier than usual. Although I’m putting that down to our incredibly long an unbearably hot Summer. It’s that time of year again and if you haven’t started your shopping already, it’s probably time you thought about it. I get terribly excited to do my Christmas shopping because I love spending time and effort buying gifts for people. But we all need a bit of help in the gift-buying department sometimes. Here’s some ideal and affordable gifts for every type of person in your life!

Shop: Cara’s Corner Creations
Perfect for: Self care lovers, someone who needs a pick-me-up
The practice of self-care has blown up over the last few years and rightly so! We all deserve to give ourselves a bit of a break and treat ourselves every now and again. These pocket self-care boxes from Cara’s Corner Creations are the perfect stocking filler to remind your loved one to take a break and focus on their self-care! This teeny box is filled with a bath bomb, aromatherapy oil, a wax melt, seeds to grow your own succulent, tea bags and various positive affirmations to give you that boost. All the perfect items for the ultimate self-care evening (which we all need around the busy, stressful Christmas period). You can find Cara on Twitter, Instagram or her blog!

Shop: Cosy Felt Creations
Perfect for: Book lovers
As a book lover myself, I know bookish gifts always go down well. Not just books themselves but bookmarks and other book-themed accessories. Cosy Felt Creations are your ideal stop for sweet stocking fillers for the book lover in your life and the felt bookmarks will certainly brighten up any book! As well as non-Christmas themed items, Cosy Felt Creations do mittens, reindeer’s, robins and my personal favourite, the gingerbread man – pictured below! You can also find them on Twitter, here!

Shop: Home Brewtique
Perfect for: Drink lovers, Dad, husband
Now I might not be a drinker myself but we all know that Christmas is the time to eat, drink and be merry and we’ve all got a few beer and alcohol lovers in the family, that’s for certain! Home Brewtique sell home brewing beer kits, with tons of recipes to chose from which would make a fantastic gift for the drink lover in your life and provide them with hours worth of brewing fun over the Christmas period. Perfect for beginners, you can purchase the kit, the add-on equipment and any recipes you’d like to try.

I was sent two home brewed samples to try and home and I got my trusty taste testers (my boyfriend and my Dad) to give me some feedback on the two. The first was the California Common Ale, one of the first recipes the company developed, which they said was sharp and tasted high quality, not like something you’d get out of the pump at the pub. My boyfriend also said it had a higher taste kick than the other one.

The second sample was the Single Hop IPA, one of their best sellers and my Dad said it was much tangier and almost had a fruity quality about it and although it’s a higher percentage, didn’t taste as strong as the other one. My Dad preferred this one and said it was quite refreshing and would happily drink a bottle of it himself. They both agreed that the kit itself and the home brewed beers would make an excellent gift and the beers themselves would go down well at any Christmas party!

Personalised couples print

Shop: Go Giftie
Perfect for: Couples, those who love personalised gifts, sentimental type
Discount code: Giftie15 for 15% off any product
I’ve mentioned time and time again on my blog how much I love personalized gifts – both to give and receive. I love the little bit more time and effort it takes into finding and creating the perfect gift for someone you love and I also love the fact that these gifts are one of a kind and nobody else will have something exactly the same, because it’s personal to you.

The next gift idea are these gorgeous personalized prints from GoGiftie which are just perfect for someone you love and are pretty much as personalized as you can get. GoGiftie really do take personalization to the next level and will customize it exactly how the customer wants, including any background image, words and phrases and they also offer framing, to save you doing it yourself. Their digital prints start from £14.99 and would make a perfect Christmas present this year for someone you care about. You can also find them on Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook.

Shop: Infinity Ears UK
Perfect for: Disney lovers
Discount code: INFINITY15 for 15% off until 14/12
The final gift idea of today is something I would be absolutely thrilled about if I pulled these out of my stocking. Infinity Ears UK are an Etsy shop which sell beautifully made interchangeable Disney ears, inspired by all your favourite Disney classics such as Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo, Mary Poppins and a ton more! The amazing thing about this company is that the ears are interchangeable, so you can purchase different ears to the ones on your current band! They’re also all made from biodegradable and Eco-friendly plastic! I obviously had to choose the Off To Neverland set of ears and they’re so beautifully made and so sturdy. I can’t wait to wear these on my next Disney trip!

Shop: Ronny Colbie
Perfect for: Luxury lovers
All 3 of the above products are from Ronny Colbie and are perfect for those people in your life that love a bit of luxury! Starting with their Luxury Candles, they come in 4 gorgeous sounds scents but the one I featured here is Mud Season, a chypre-woody blend with Winter florals and woodland cassis. The perfect Wintery scent for your living room this year!

Flowers are a great gift any time of year – I think most people would deeply appreciate a gorgeous bouquet of flowers delivered to their door. To me, Luxury Flowers show that someone is thinking about you and what more would you want at Christmas? Ronny Colbie have an incredible range of beautiful bouquets but I’ve chosen to feature the Place Vendome bunch. Which although looks kinda Summery, I love the pale pastel shades which I also think can feel and look quite icy and Wintery – perfect for this time of year!

And finally, Christmas isn’t Christmas without gorgeous Christmas Wreaths. If you’re looking to really up your wreath game this year, Ronny Colbie is the place to go! All with a beautiful colour theme, there is one to suit every style of Christmas decor. The one above is the St Nick wreath, which I think perfectly sums up Christmas.

I hope you enjoyed my first Christmas gift guide this year! I’ll be back next week with part 2! Which products do you love the look of?

* All products in this gift guide were sent / gifted to me in exchange for a feature but all thoughts and opinions are entirely my own

  1. I saw Cara’s Corner reviewed over on another blogger’s site and you’ve just reminded me I need to go back and check out her boxes, thank you! Those Go Giftie personalised prints are such a lovely idea too, so unusual. And I’d never say no to candles and flowers (despite having a garden, it’s always lovely to receive things you don’t grow). Great suggestions, Jenny, some really unusual finds here, thank you for sharing! xx

  2. I am living for posts like this at this time of year. I feel like it gets harder and harder to buy for certain people and you’ve just given me some great ideas, especially the Disney ears and Home Brewtique (always love a cute, punny name) for the men in my life.
    Thanks so much for sharing!

  3. I love that wreath, it’s so cute! Also, of course I love the felt bookmarks! I’m so bad at using bookmarks though, I’m definitely a dog ear kind of girl.
