AD – GIFTED | I don’t review a lot of subscription boxes anymore, as you might have noticed. I rarely find one that really speaks to me (if anyone knows of any Yoga themed sub boxes, hit me up!) But every now and again, one will crop up that seriously piques my interest. One like the Hounds & Hers box…

Hounds & Hers

Because the special thing about this particular box is that it’s a treat for both you AND YOUR DOG in one box.

Hounds & Hers offer a range of delivery options, including:

  • A one-off box for £27.99 including shipping
  • A box every month for £22.99
  • 3 month pre-pay for £20.99 a month
  • 6 month pre-pay for £19.99 a month

I think the Hounds & Hers box is a wonderful idea. As a dog owner (obviously because why else would I have this box?), it’s always nice to treat your four-legged friend. I want to treat him all the damn time because he’s so freaking cute but I know I can’t.

So receiving a box like this in the post knowing that you both have some treats to enjoy this month is a wonderful alternative. So let’s see what’s in the September Hounds & Hers box:

Little’s Chocolate Caramel Flavour Infused Instant Coffee

Starting with the ‘Hers’ treats in this box, the first thing I pulled out was the Little’s Chocolate Caramel Flavour Infused Instant Coffee. This is a really decent sized product and something a little different too – I’ve never seen this sort of flavoured coffee before.

I will admit, I’m not a huge coffee drinker. It often makes me feel a bit drunk and gives me the shakes but I will give this a go in a small dose because I can’t resist anything chocolate! My Mum and boyfriend love a coffee though so I can imagine this will go down a treat with them.

Coconut Lane Palm Pwr Hair Rescue Mask

This was an amazing sized product for a subscription box – as you can see! I’ve never tried anything from Coconut Lane before but I do know that my hair is in need of some TLC, so I’m really looking forward to trying this out. I smells absolutely gorgeous too!

“I work hard so my dogs can have a better life!” print

And just for funsies, they added in this super cute print which I love because let’s face it, it’s so true. I’m pretty sure my Mum works as hard as she does for my dog – he’s all of our pride and joy!

Miss Teddy Sparkly Lead

The first thing for the hound in this box was this cute sparkly clippable lead from Miss Teddy. It’s very snazzy. Snazzier than Rory has ever been. We took him out with it after opening the box and it glittered like HECK in the sunshine, so I was very happy about that.

The lead itself is really sturdy and great quality. So not only does it look extra pretty but it’s also really durable. Which is particularly useful for dogs like mine who pull like a motherf***** on their leads!

The Wholesome Hound Wholesome Freshly Baked Dog Snacks – Lavender, Oats & Chamomile

And finally, we received these healthy, wholesome dog snacks from The Wholesome Hound company. I’ve never seen dog snacks like this before but due to the ingredients, they’re really good before bed. Perfect for if you have a dog who’s a light sleeper or often wakes you up in the night.

These snacks are star shaped, as shown on the packet and a really decent size too. But the bonus is that they’re also healthy. We’ve definitely been known to feed my dog a little too many treats sometimes so I’ll definitely be using these in replacement on occasion!

If you’re interested in this box, don’t forget to take advantage of my discount code! Just use code ‘JENNY’ at the checkout! What do you think of the Hounds & Hers box? Do you like the idea of a box that caters for both you and your dog?

  1. YOUR. PHOTOS. Lordy, they are so beautiful that I want to buy this box and I don’t even have a dog! Just gorgeous.
I love that this is a mix of treats for dog AND owner, that’s so cute and a lovely way for both of you to enjoy it. Rory is the cutest dog going and I bet he looked amazing with that sparkly lead!

  2. This is such a fun idea for a subscription box! I’m sure all the ladies with dogs are going to love it.

  3. This is too adorable! I love the idea of a owner/dog subscription box! It sounds like you got treats for both you and your pup and they were a hit with both of you! I wish they had one for a girl and her cat(s). Though I’m sure the subscriber would like her products more than the cats and the cats would just sit the in the box instead using/eating their treats.

This would be a great gift idea for a dog owner! Lovely post!

  4. This is such a cute idea to have something for both you and your dog all in one box!! The Chocolate Caramel infused instant chocolate sounds so interesting (even though I don’t drink coffee haha!) I’ve never heard of it before! I have a lot of friends who switched from coffee to matcha, and it’s a great way to have an alternative to coffee – iced matcha with oat milk is my favorite to make at home 🙂

I’ve heard of a lot of great things from Coconut Lane – I hear they have amazing phone cases! The leash is so cute, especially love that it glitters in the sun!

The dog snacks look so interesting – really different from the ones that come in those large bags at the supermarket- perfect treat to give when he does a good job!

  5. What a lovely idea for a subscription box! I’ve never heard of this company before and I would most likely be signing up if I had a dog! If they do one for cats I will be all over it 😂 looks like they do some lovely stuff in it too! Also your dog is absolutely gorgeous 😍 x

  6. Yes, yes, yes, yes. I love anything that I can share with Hugo and this sounds absolutely perfect. Little man always gets a small biscuit at bedtime so those treats sound great too. And excellent posing on the doggo’s part. It’s truly great that your canine assistant was so cooperative with this post, Hugo would just sleep in the box…x
