AD: How To Spend 2 Days In Paris

Is it possible to enjoy Paris in just two days? Well, it sure is possible, and all you need to do is plan carefully and fine-tune your itinerary. You can visit Paris in 2 days and still make the most of your short trip. It is indeed and remains one of the most beautiful of European cities, that visitors love to return to time and again. There is so much to do and see here, the world-class museums, the fabulous French food, and amazing monuments.

A perfect Paris itinerary for two days

Arrival the night before– Reach your hotel and relax and go to bed early, as you need to get up early and make the most out of your two-day trip to Paris. The next morning have an early French breakfast and get ready for the first day.

Day 1

• Start your day with the Eiffel Tower, the impressive lattice tower made of wrought iron. Admire the iconic landmark of Paris from the gardens Champs de Mars and buy the admission tickets to climb the tower. Enjoy breath-taking views of the city from the third floor.

• Visit the Musée Rodin, where you can admire the sculptor’s main pieces of art in the Museum’s garden. The Museum is dedicated to the works of Auguste Rodin, the French sculptor. There are thousands of sculptures, drawings, and photographs to look at.

• Make a trip to Petit Palais, which is worth-while seeing. The Museum is located across from the Grand Palais, and entry to this Museum is free. Designed by Charles Girault, the Grand Palais carries a Beaux-Arts style, and you will love those ionic columns and grand porch.

• Arc de Triomphe or Triumphal Arch of the Star is another famous monument in Paris. It honors those who fought for France, and the inner and outer surfaces of the Arch carry the names of all those who fought the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars.

• If you have time, you can visit the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and Place du Tertre on the first day. Enjoy a relaxing dinner and can attend the Moulin Rouge show at 11 pm.

Day 2

After a hectic and busy first day, it is time to spend the next day. Here is how to go about it.

• Visit Louvre Museum in the morning, and it is a good idea to get up early to avoid those long queues. The national museum of France is one of the most-visited art museums and boasts of impressive works from ancient civilizations. The rich collection of artworks boasts of many masterpieces, including Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.

• Explore the flower market in Louis Lépi, and if you are here on Sunday, you will also get to see bird stands. Enjoy the open-air flower market, which is surrounded by leading chefs and restaurateurs. Admire the flowers and enjoy tasting the fruits, cheese, and organic wine.

• Visit Rue Soufflot and the Panthéon, which are other major attractions in Paris. Panthéon was designed by the architect Jacques-Germain to replace an older church and is dedicated to the memory of great Frenchmen.

• Spend some time in one of the most beautiful gardens in the city, Jardin du Luxembourg. You can relax on the grounds, sunbathe or have an ice-cream. This is an excellent area to enjoy a picnic and spend some quality time.

• Well, you can end the second day with a Seine River Cruise and look at Paris from a different perspective. You can sit back and relax and enjoy the views roll by.
