Well hello there lovely reader. Welcome and thank you for stopping by my little blog! I’m Jenny; bookworm, organisational wizard, avid Chinese food eater and blog owner. Jenny in Neverland was born around March 2013 and started as a book review blog. Since then I’ve ventured into lifestyle blogging so you’ll find a whole range of topics from books, travel, food, blogging tips and general waffle somewhere on here.
Although I may not post about books as much any more, reading will always be my biggest passion and the reason my little blog, which has lead me to so much, is even here in the first place. I’ve loved reading ever since I was little and nothing can ever replace that feeling you get when you read a truly, amazing book. My favourite books include; The Book Theif by Markus Zusak, Looking for Alaska and Paper Towns by John Green, The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, The Beach by Alex Garland and The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson-Walker.
“When she came to write her story, she would wonder when the books and the words started to mean not just something, but everything”, – The Book Thief, Markus Zusak
Okay, aside from books and reading, I do actually enjoy other stuff. I love films and music and gaming. I absolutely love Formula 1; which is a relatively new passion of mine. I also love food, cooking and trying new recipes (and new dishes from the takeaway), animals and exploring new places. Travel is a bit of a broad term but when I can visit somewhere new, I always will. I’m also a huge Disney fan and listen to Disney songs more than regular songs. I spend a large amount of time cleaning and organising things that don’t really need to be organised but it’s one of my main self-care rituals and I find it deeply therapeutic. I’m basically a real-life Monica Geller.
Thank you for stopping by my little space on the internet, you can get in touch with me (only if you want to, that is!) on Twitter or my blog’s Facebook page. I hope you like my posts and happy reading!
Love always, Jenny xo
