Mystery Blogger Award Tag

I don’t do these chain award tag posts anymore if I’m honest. A lot of them are for new bloggers and I’m long from being a new blogger but I was tagged in one the other day which was mostly Disney themed and it looked like fun so I wanted to join in. I’m not sure if this tag is designed for new bloggers or just anyone who fancies doing it but what I’m going to do is tag 10 bloggers with under 500 blog followers at the end of this post for you to check out and spread the love! Thank you to Charlie from That is the Spell for my nomination, do go and check out his wonderful blog!

10 Things I Would Save in a Fire

I really love doing fun and personal posts every now and again and I recently stumbled upon Gabriella’s video about ’10 things she would save in a fire‘. This video was intended to be done as a video ‘tag’ but as you’re well aware that I definitely, 100% do not do YouTube I decided to make it into a blog post instead! But credit to Gabby for creating the tag in the first place and you can find her video here. I really enjoyed doing this and thinking of the items I would save; it really makes you realise what is sentimental to you and what isn’t and I was surprised by some of my choices. So let’s assume every human in my house is clever enough to get out themselves, with everything left, here’s the 10 things I would save If my house was on fire *but touch wood it won’t be*.

13 Personal Questions Tag

When in doubt, when you cannot think of a single blog post to write, do a tag post. That’s my number 1 blogging philosophy. So today, I have stolen the 13 Personal Questions Tag from It’s Just Me Hayley D (hope she doesn’t mind!) even though her post was over a year ago – better late than never, right?! I sometimes like these rambly type posts where you have to think very little about what you’re going to say and just let your fingers do the talking. So enjoy my rambles! And be sure to check out Hayley’s post.

{Tag} 11 Things You Didn’t Know

So like, many moons ago, I was tagged in the 11 Things You Didn’t Know tag by the lovely Ashton from Beauty, Books and Babble and because I’m useless I completely glossed over it. But, you know the saying, better late than never right? Ashton has given me 11 random questions to answer which may reveal some things you never ever knew about me… And I’ll be leaving some questions for anyone else who wants to do this tag at the bottom! Enjoy!

8 Photos of Happiness

I was tagged by the lovely Leanne to take part in this tag, ‘8 Photos of Happiness’. I thought it was such a beautiful and uplifting idea that I had to give it a go. Just 8 photos with a short description of why it was a happy moment. So simple but effective and sometime, photos really do speak a thousand words.

Dividers-2.5

This tag was originally created by Ariel’s Little Corner of the Internet and the intention is simple. Share 8 photos that represent a moment, object, place or feeling that makes you happy. Then tag others to share their own photos! So lo and behold, here are my 8 photos!

Four Things Tag

I’ve been stuck for blog post ideas. Like, really stuck. But I figure, you can’t go wrong with a trusty “tag” post, can you? I pinched this one of Danielle from Underland to Wonderland (who’s blog is fantastic, by the way!) and it’s called the “Four Things Tag” where, unsurprisingly, you name four things under each category. So lo and behold, here are my answers!

Four Jobs I’ve Had

1) Sales assistant at Primark. Loosely translated to: Chatting to friends all day and having sock fights.
2) Optical assistant at Vision Express. Loosely translated to: Cringing as you take photos of people’s retinas.
3) Voluntary teaching assistant. Loosely translated to: I don’t like kids. Why am I even here?
4) Admin assistant at my mum’s work. Basically getting my travel for free and eating all day.

The Disneyland Paris Tag!

the disneyland paris tag

I was absolutely thrilled to be tagged in this Disneyland Paris tag by the gorgeous Danielle from Underland to Wonderland. It’s no secret that I’m a die-hard Disney fan; I could surround myself with Disney every day and never get bored. I’ve been to Disneyland Paris 3 times in my life and I truly think it’s the happiest place on Earth. My heart swells up whenever I think about it! So… On with the tag! Continue reading

The TMI Travel Tag!

travelI pinched this off of Katy’s blog, The Lilac Scrapbook (which is awesome by the way, go check it out!) and although I wasn’t tagged I loved the idea of a travel survey to talk about where you’ve been, where you’d like to go and share some photos! I won’t tag anyone at the end as I wasn’t tagged myself but if you’d like to do it then go ahead! (Be sure to credit it to Wanderness as she made the tag up!) Continue reading

The Blogger ‘Get To Know Me’ Tag!

The lovely Laura from She Loves To Read created this tag as a way to get to know other book bloggers a little bit better. We all know we like books but there’s obviously a lot more to all of us that that! I think this is a lovely idea and I hope this new tag goes a long way in helping us all learn more about each other, other than our shared love of books. Here are my answers to the questions Laura made up and who I tag to do this next!

get to know me

1) Tell us 5 random facts about youDSC_0633

Hmm, I’m not very good at these things because my facts are either really boring or paint me as a complete nut job! I’ve never had an operation in hospital (which is a good thing, I suppose!), I am terrified of toads – frogs I can handle because their small and dainty but big fat slimy toads make me want to cry (my eyes started watering just writing that!), I am an only child, I’ve been a bridesmaid 3 times and I’m a bit of a loner – I like spending time with myself.

2) When is your birthday?

My birthday is on 4th September. When I was in school it was always touch and go whether my birthday would fall on the first day back at school! It rarely did, thankfully. Whenever I had a birthday party in primary school it was always at the very end of the summer holidays so luckily most people were back from their holidays and could make it and it was always a nice end to the summer. I also share my birthday with Beyoncé.
