It was a lot of fun and got a lot of buzz around the book blogging community and on the 11th and 12th March they announced the winners and…

I won an award!

I thought it was a mistake at first but nope! Little old me really did win an award and was nominated by other book bloggers. The award I won was an “Honourable Mention” and I even got my own special little button which I will display proudly on my blog.

Thank you so so so much to everyone that nominated me; I honestly didn’t think I’d be in with a chance of winning anything, considering the amount of absolutely incredible book blogs and book bloggers out there so I am completely honoured to have won alongside all these other incredible bloggers.

I absolutely adore the book blogging community – and not just because I won – because of the amount of support everyone has for each other and how positive and encouraging everyone is about others achievements and it’s a beautiful thing to see everyone lift each other up and celebrate our achievements rather than being jealous and bitter.

Thank you to both Tay and Becca for organising such a fun and successful event! They’re hoping to run this again next year and make it even BIGGER and BETTER!
