Over the years, there’s been more and more different ways to make money. Were my grandparents alive, they’d be utterly dumbfounded and confused over the fact I make money from writing things on online (and that’s after I’d have explained to them what “online” was!) But, technology is a wonderful thing (sometimes) and it’s definitely opened up our world and opportunities. So here are some different ways to make money online that ISN’T blogging:
Buying and selling wholesale clothing
Fashion is a big market so selling clothes online could be a good way to make money and even turn it into a full-time career. This isn’t something I’ve dabbled in yet although I really want to. Truth be told, I’m a little nervous about it. But some have had fantastic results on using matched betting, making hundreds a month. Matched betting is a technique whereby you profit from the free bets and incentives offered by bookmakers. If you’re a betting person, this one might be worth a try!
Sell your own creations on eBay or Etsy
A pretty obvious one but a good way to make money online that isn’t blogging is to sell your own products, artwork and creations on a platform such as eBay or Etsy. If you’re looking to really grow a business from it – Etsy is the one to use. This is a good option for those who still enjoy being on social media and promoting their own work.
Mystery shopping
I’ve done a bit of mystery dining in the past and although I was only paid for the meal, it was a great experience. Mystery shopping is where companies hire agencies to recruit mystery shoppers for various jobs and assignments. Shoppers will have to report back to the agency and receive a fee for doing so.
Fiverr or freelancing
If you’re not a blogger but love writing, then this is a good one for you. Freelance writing can be a great earner once you build up your reputation and client base. Often with repeat clients coming back to you for work time and time again. Fiverr is a good place to start with your freelance writing career!
Sell things you no longer need
Another fairly obvious one but ensuring you have a regular clear out of your house and sell the things you no longer need rather than just throwing them in the bin is a great way to make money. So if you don’t fancy getting up at 4am to do a car boot sale, check out eBay or Depop instead!
