Biscuiteers Fruit Basket Biscuit Tin *

Every now and again an email will land in my inbox which I don’t entirely believe was meant for me. And until I make sure it’s actually addressed to “Jenny” and not “Jessica” that super big powerhouse of a blogger do I let myself believe it. Biscuiteers are a brand I’ve seen everywhere online – even featured in extremely popular YouTuber’s vlogs and I’ve always admired them from afar, in awe of their incredible biscuits and the exquisite icing skills of their bakers. Like most people, I love cake, biscuits and all sorts of sweet treats but very rarely can I ever treat myself to anything a bit more on the luxury side. Money is tight, you get me. You’ll find me with a choc roll and a cuppa tea, not usually with a tin of these incredible biscuits. So when I was contacted and asked if I’d like to receive one of their tins, I was thrilled (and a bit confused because as we’ve establish, I have a bit of imposter syndrome).

I was sent their Fruit Basket Luxe Biscuit Tin* which is marketed under their “get well soon” range but of course can be gifted for a variety of occasions. The idea being that when someone’s ill, the age old tradition is to give them grapes or fruit but who wants fruit when you could have a whole tin of biscuits right? (No hate on grapes, I actually really like them). This particular tin retails at £45 but you can find tins for more or less on their website.

The biscuits themselves come in a really lovely, sturdy and aesthetically pleasing tin which helps keep the biscuits really fresh for a longer period of time. It includes 16 biscuits, all vanilla flavour and all hand-iced to look like different pieces of fruit. I gotta say, there’s only 4 of us in my house an 16 biscuits didn’t last very long! They’re very moorish!

Each biscuit is so carefully iced, the time and effort that gets put into each and every one is outstanding. The biscuits themselves are fairly thick and you get a really good amount of icing on top as well – which is brilliant for me because the icing is always the best part! The vanilla comes through lovely and the icing and the biscuit really compliment each other and just like that… I’ve turned into Paul Hollywood.

Biscuiteers sell every type of design you could possibly want. From Christmas, birthdays, new babies, Halloween, weddings and more. As well as chocolates, cakes, gluten free and the option to personalize some of the tins. As a gift, I’d definitely be very happy receiving one of these and if you’re looking for something a bit different to gift a loved one this Christmas, I would definitely 100% recommend Biscuiteers!

Have you ever tried Biscuiteers biscuits before? What sort of design would you go for?
