ad | July 21st, 2023. A date we all need to put in our diaries. Because it’s the release date of the brand new Barbie movie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling! I for one am SUPER excited and will definitely be going to see this movie in the theatre.
It’s unlikely my partner will want to see it, so it might require a solo cinema trip. But that’s fine with me! I’m quite happy to go and see it alone. I think it looks brilliant and Margot Robbie is the PERFECT Barbie.
In anticipation of this movie that, let’s be honest, we’ve all been waiting for since it was first announced, I’ve created a little list of ways in which we can celebrate the new Barbie movie coming out!
Of course, Barbie dolls and toys are ultimately for children, yet the new movie is aimed more an adults. So most of these points can be changed and adapted, depending on if you want to celebrate alone, with your adult girlfriends or with your Barbie loving kids!

Host a pink themed party
This point could apply to an adult party and a children’s party – clearly it’s evident that the new Barbie movie is NOT just for children and I think it’s so cool that it’s got adults celebrating Barbie again!
Buy some Barbie branded clothing

I wish I hadn’t thrown all my own Barbie toys away, I had an incredible collection of Barbie dolls, a Barbie aeroplane, a Barbie swimming pool and more. Perhaps it’s time to go in the loft and see what you can find!
Buy your children Barbie books
If you have children that love Barbie, now is a great time to invest in some Barbie books. There are plenty available to choose from and you can have a reading session together in the evening. Perhaps to really set the mood, you could make them a pink drink!
I think it’s fun to celebrate the small things in life too and making the most of things when they arise.

I’m literallt so excited to see the barbie movie – I love the hype around it, it’s got a nostalgic, communal aspect to it from when I was younger 😆 I feel like the movie will actually be very profound and thought – provoking, what do you think??
I can’t wait for it either! I was a HUGE Barbie fan as a kid, I had so many Barbie’s so I think it’s such a cool concept for a movie 🙂
