500 Blog Followers & 30,000 Page Views: Thank You and Giveaways!

Just before 2014 was out, my little blog reached 500 followers. Shortly after that, it hit 30,000 page views. So to celebrate these milestones, I wanted to write a little post to express my gratitude for all your support and host a couple of awesome giveaways as a thank you!

Jenny in Neverland was born in March/April (I’ve lost track of when exactly!) 2012 and I am overwhelmed by how much fun I’ve had, the amazing people I’ve met through it and the extent in which it has expanded since then. I never thought I’d even reach 50 followers – let alone 500!

A massive thank you to everyone who reads my blog, likes my posts, leaves me comments and interacts with me on Twitter and Facebook about books and blogging. I never in a million years realised how much time and effort goes into running and maintaining a blog but I’m so glad I’ve managed to keep it up because it’s such a rewarding hobby to have.

To say a further thank you, I have not one, not two but FOUR giveaways for you all. They are all running on separate Rafflecopter giveaways so you can enter the ones you want to win and all winners, of all giveaways will be announced on Monday 2nd March. Good luck!

  1. Sarah Pritchard says:

Congratulations on achieving your milestones. My fave book of 2014 is…well there’s 3 the dead wife’s handbook, pieces of you and the memory book. I just really can’t decide out them sorry! xx

  2. The best book I read in 2014 is All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. It was so different to what I normally rea, but I’, so glad I branched out and tried it, it was beautiful.

    1. Sometimes it’s great to branch out into a genre you don’t normally read because you end up finding loads of amazing books you probably wouldn’t have stumbled upon otherwise. This book sounds great, I’ll look it up!

  3. If I could turn back time, I would take advice from people instead of thinking I know best.

    1. That’s a great answer! I think a lot of people would agree too – I certainly do.

  4. Rachel Gilbey says:

If I could turn back time I would stop the meteorite from hitting the earth and wiping out the dinosaurs, as it would be interesting to see if humans would have still come about if dinosaurs were still alive!

    1. Oh this is so interesting! And it’s definitely making me think now! Hmmm, I wonder…

  5. Rachel Gilbey says:

Best moment of 2014 was swimming with Dolphins in Mexico, on my 30th Birthday

    1. Wow! That’s amazing, I’ve always wanted to swim with dolphins. I bet that was an incredible experience 🙂

      1. Rachel Gilbey says:

It was an incredibly experience. I loved every second of it. Being pulled along by a dolphin while holding its flippers, is brilliant!

  6. Annegret says:

Sorry, I forgot. My best achievement in 2014 was to become more relaxed. Life is hard enough. Keep calm!

    1. That’s a fantastic thing to achieve, it’s so easy to get caught up and stressed with daily life so being able to have the tools to cope with that stress and stay more relaxed is so beneficial! 🙂

  7. Annegret says:

Congratulation! The books you are now offering are great! Thank you!

    1. Thank you! Good luck with the giveaways 🙂

  8. Tanya Phillips says:

If I could turn back time I would take more care with my back. I would also do some more of the activities I fancied doing when I was younger like sky diving or driving on a race circuit. Most of them I can not do now that I am disabled.

As for achievements last year I started guest reviewing on various blogs. It has been great and I now have many more friends.

    1. Ooh sky diving is very extreme! I don’t think I could ever have the guts to do that. Blogging is a great way to make friends, that’s one of – if not THE – best thing about it for me too. If you ever want to guest post or review for me that’d be great! Good luck with the giveaways 🙂

      1. Tanya says:

Thank you. I would love to guest review for you. Do you want a particular genre?

      2. Any genre that takes your fancy! I’ll message you on Facebook or Twitter with my email address 🙂

  9. Tanya Phillips says:

Wow what a great achievement. That’s such a hard question I struggked to get my top 10. I think judas scar

    1. Thanks Tanya! Ooh I haven’t read that one yet but I’ve heard so many good things about it! Think it’s time to get a copy 🙂

  10. Congratulations!!

    1. Thank you! 🙂

  11. […] 01/03 Book Giveaways Four RC’s […]

  12. Congratulations on your accomplishments and thank you for the opportunity to enter the giveaways! If I could turn back time…what would I change…that’s a hard question, because anything I would consider changing would affect what I have now, and that is three beautiful children. I’m going through a separation/divorce right now, so I would have my children and go through that a whole lot sooner than I currently am. Sounds depressing, I know, sorry 🙂

    1. Thank you! And you’re welcome – wanted to give something back to everyone for all the support! Ah that doesn’t sound depressing at all – it actually sounds very sensible 🙂 Good luck in the giveaways!

  13. Wow, congratulations on reaching these milestones! Recently discovered your blog and love it. Thank you for the brilliant giveaway.
The best book I read in 2014 was probably the Throne of Glass series, preferred Crown of Midnight to ToG though.

    1. Thank you so much! And you’re welcome! Good luck 🙂
