Throughout July, I was very lucky to receive some amazing things in the post. As a blogger, as I’m sure a lot of you will understand, post time can be your favourite time of day and the postman can become your best friend. I get along really well with my postman now as he’s always bringing me parcels! Anyway, I worked with some great brands and received some amazing books in the post this past month so I wanted to share them with you here along with some other goodies! I’m also thinking of maybe doing one of these ‘stuff hauls’ every month! What do you think?
Firstly, I’d just like to sincerely apologise for how boring this August wrap-up could potentially be. August has been a pretty good month but believe it or not, I haven’t received anything in the post nor have I actually bought anything that you might want to see! But, I did finally get to see my best friend again, make some progress on my WIP amongst other things so although there’s not much to show you, I can still waffle a bit about what I’ve been up to and what’s to come over the next month!
Let’s get the important stuff out the way first; this month I was finally reunited with my best friend Lynsey James! She came to stay with me for the second time and we had a great time. We made cakes and cocktails, had takeaways and a gorgeous BBQ, spent all da relaxing in the garden and had a ride to the seaside one evening. Continue reading
Well howdy folks! Hello and welcome to my July wrap-up! I hope you’ve all had a lovely July. I don’t know about you but the weather outside as I’m writing this feels more like Autumn! Although I’m not complaining, I’m not one for heat! So let’s crack on, here’s what’s been going down in July…
What I’ve Received in July…
Book-wise, I didn’t actually receive or buy an awful lot in July. I got 2 kindly sent from publishers which were In The Name of Love by Patrick Smith (thanks to Head of Zeus) and The Way We Were by Sinéad Moriarty (thanks to Penguin). I also bought Pride and Prejudice as a little bit of research for my own work in progress. I’ll say no more, because I don’t want to give anything away! I was also lucky enough to win a giveaway over on Pixie Bebe for a craft and paper cutting kit! I love anything crafty so can’t wait to give this a go! Continue reading

Hello my little lost boys and girls! I hope you’ve all had a fabulous month and read some amazing books too! I’ve been away on holiday and gallivanting around the UK for a lot of May but I still managed to get some reading done, although not as much as usual. I did come home from holiday to a lot of lovely bookpost which I will share with you below! Here’s what’s been going on in Neverland this May…

And we’re back here again! Another month gone; and although it’s not been the best month ever personally as I was struck down with a rotten cold for 2 weeks after not having a cold in 3 years, I have read some amazing books, taken part in #PaperbackMonth along with a bunch of other bloggers and started a few of my 33 Before 33 challenges including, reading all the books on my bookcase and taking 1 photo a day of something that makes me happy for an entire year. But anyway, onto the books!

I hope all your Februaries have been wonderful and had a lovely Valentines Day (if you celebrate it) and of course pancake day! Here’s what’s been going on in my booky world this month. Hello lovely readers! Wow, can you believe we’re at the end of January already? This month has gone insanely quick but it’s been a great month for me – bookish and otherwise. I’ve had some amazing book post, planned some really good things which are happening on my blog and in my personal life, have had some lovely days and planned a few holidays! But today I’m sharing all the wonderful books I’ve received throughout January!
Most of the books I’ve received this month I’ve bought myself, however I was sent one review copy from the lovely people at Quercus of The Zig Zag Girl by Elly Griffiths, which was a recommendation from Cressida, who I saw absolutely loved it. I read what it was about and was instantly sold – crime and magic?! Who could resist?! Being a massive fan of both I was so excited to start reading this and it hooked me from page 1. Throughout the month of May, I was on a bit of a book buying ban and only received one in the post so I figured there was absolutely no point in doing a book haul that month so I teamed up with June and am doing a combined book haul of the last two months. Enjoy! Continue reading
