This will make things a lot easier and it will take the stress out of looking for where to purchase travel cards and so on at the airport.

Amsterdam is blessed with a wonderful transport network that includes everything from boats to bikes. If you think you’ll be doing a lot of travelling, then consider looking at a travel card such as which offers not only unlimited travel but also access to museums and even discounts on certain things. These are perfect for families because you won’t need to continuously top-up a regular travel card. However, if you’re only travelling alone or have your destinations planned out, then it might be worth looking at so you can purchase a regular travel card with money already on it. You can refund the remaining credit on the card before you leave, but you can’t refund the actual cost of the card. Luckily, it lasts several years, so it’ll be available for you if you return.
