AD – This post contains gifted products but all thoughts are my own

As I’m writing this, London and Essex has just been placed on a Tier 2 warning. We’re no longer allowed to meet friends or family from other households inside. I’m definitely not the only one who feels like everything is going backwards. Or who’s wondering how Christmas might look this year. Christmas is such a magical time for so many people, pandemic or not, it’s important that we do our best to make the most of it, even if we have Christmas on a budget.

This bloody pandemic has kicked up a lot of problems; from health, to losing loved ones, to economic, to redundancy and more. It really did rock up, all guns blazing. But I think the most common problem it’s caused is financial. With so many people losing their jobs or being put on furlough throughout the year.

And with Christmas coming up, this is understandably a worry. Because let’s not beat around the bush. Christmas costs a LOT. Whether you intend it to or not, the price of Christmas always tend to creep up and up until you wonder where your money has gone. So it’s important to think about how we can do Christmas on a budget.

Who are Cherryz?

Which is where this collaboration comes in perfectly. Cherryz is an online retailer who believe that nice things don’t have to cost a fortune. They sell everything from food and drink, toys and games, kitchen and cleaning, health and beauty and much more. With their items costing anything from £1-£10, Cherryz is a perfect option for those who want to save money this Christmas with products of their own design, trusted brands and cherry-picked goodies from around the world.

Fancy a discount?

Before we look at what’s in my box, Cherryz have kindly offered my followers 20% their first time purchase using the Cherryz app! CLICK HERE to download the app and use code JENNY20 at the checkout to get 20% off your first app purchase!

What’s in my box?

For this collaboration, I was kindly offered a £50 voucher to spend at Cherryz. And because this is a post about Christmas, I stuck to their dedicated range of Christmas products, to see what was on offer and what I could get for £50. They have a huge range of Christmas products and it’s only October. And they add new products ALL the time!

From treats to essentials, I tried to cover everything when picking out the bits for my box. I used the Cherryz app, which is dead easy and simple to use – which you’ll soon find out when you use my discount code! But let’s get onto what I managed to pick up for Christmas:

Sweet treats

Elizabeth Shaw Milk Chocolate Mint Crisp£3 // Milky Bar Buttons Giant Tube£1 // Peppermint Candy Canes 10pck – £1 // Guylian Belgian Chocolate Sea Horses£2

I probably could have quite easily spent the entire £50 on chocolate and sweet treats but I managed to narrow it down to these! Candy canes because who the heck doesn’t love candy canes at Christmas? I chose the Elizabeth Shaw chocolates for my Mum and the buttons and Guylian Sea Horses for my boyfriend (which he’s already eaten – whoops).

Decorations etc.

Band Nutcracker Soldier£3 // Christmas Glitter Window Stickers£1 // LED String Lights£3 // Luxury Christmas Crackers 10pck£4 // Glitter Christmas Ribbon Silver£1

They have a great range of decorations on the app so I picked out a few which always come in handy. Fairy-lights and cute little snowflake stickers for my window. I also picked up some crackers because they’re a must for your Christmas dinner. I found this little Nutcracker Soldier which I thought was so cute so had to add him to my basket as well.

Gifts

Baylis & Harding Skin Spa Bath Fizzers Gift Set£6 // Rudolph’s Substitute Christmas Dog Jumper£4 // Ladies Novelty Socks£1 // Yankee Candle Home Inspiration Votive Gift Set – £4 // Women’s Christmas Slipper Socks£5 // Bakers Allsorts Dog Treats£1 // Dog Raincoat White£4

The selection of gifts really impressed me. So I definitely made the most of that and picked up a couple of things which would make great stocking fillers. And in fact, since placing my own order, there’s been a TON of new gifts added to the app so I would highly recommend checking them out right now!

I picked up the slipper socks and the slippers for me and Mum, as well as the Yankee Candles. She loves her Yankee Candles. I also found a couple of bits for the dog including some treats he loves and a cute little Christmas jumper!

Final thoughts?

So that’s everything I received in my box! I can’t believe how much I managed to pick up but considering most items were under £5 – which many of them being just £1 or £2 – it’s no surprise that I managed to get so much! In fact, going through the box once it arrived, I’d actually forgotten how much I managed to get!

Cherryz is the perfect app to go to for Christmas essentials. For your products like chocolate treats (because no Christmas is complete without a ton of chocolate), decorations and gift bags, you really can’t go wrong with Cherryz if you’re working on a budget this Christmas.

Will you be checking out Cherryz for Christmas? What do you make of their prices and products?
