Hey Friend! Are you looking for some amazing productive things to do at home? If your answer is yes and you are interested in making the most of your time, then this post is for you. Today I am going to share 11 productive things to do at home with you. Excited? Great! Let’s go.
We have many things to do at home but sometimes we get stuck. And we think Agh, there’s so much boredom! It happens! We all feel lazy in some situations Because we think there’s nothing to do. You think all you can do is scrolling social media, watching tv, eating and sleeping. But wait.. you think wrong my friend.
You have so many amazing and fun things to do at home. These things will make you super productive as well as happy! Today I’m going to share 11 amazing things too at home to feel more alive and these will utilize your time in a very good way.
Here are 11 amazing things to do at home to boost your creativity:
1. Enroll for a free course
Why not give your time to the things that can enhance your knowledge? And without spending your money? Sounds great?
There are many free courses out there. The more you learn the more you earn, so give a try to some courses that you are interested in. You can check out udemy, Coursera, skillshare, and many other platforms.
You will find hundreds of free courses here, from digital marketing to professional photography. All kinds of courses are there and you can learn it for free. You can even Learn free from Google itself. These courses also give certificates of completion.
2. Read books
NO! IT’S NOT BORING.
I am not a book person but back in 2020, I developed a habit to read.. at least 1k words? It’s easy, right?

Reading is in fact a great habit and it helps to build your mindset, your personality, YOU! Give it a try and you won’t regret it.
3. Start a small business
Fun fact is you don’t need an MBA degree to build a business. No age required, no degree required. You can build something on your own. Here are some of my favorite side hustle ideas that you can do from home. And the plus point is people are loving new creations and new products.
Nowadays, I see many people start small businesses like they sell cute scrunchies, dainty jewelries, masks, scarves and many other handmade quirky items.
I really feel good when I see such things on the internet. Guys, the internet can legitimately help you to build a successful business. Go for it. Use it wisely and start something today. There are thousands of tutorials on YouTube. How to make this, how to make that, almost everything!
If you have time, start a small business from today. Have courage and believe in yourself.
4. Listen to podcasts
If you don’t like watching YouTube videos, then you can go for some motivating and inspiring podcasts. The main benefit of listening to a podcast is this will not hurt your eyes. If you don’t want so much screen time, then it’s for you. It will help you to be a great listener and maybe a great communicator too.
5. Networking
Ummm.. well! Sorry introverts but it’s true that a successful business needs a great network. I read somewhere that networking is not only saving contacts, it’s about planting relationships, relationship that helps to build your mindset better and your business more amazing.
For example, you can complete your LinkedIn profile, connect with like-minded people. Talk to them about your hobbies and passions. And you will automatically start finding new opportunities. So Networking= Opportunities!
6. Organize your home office/bedroom
Like décor? Why not give it a try? You can redecorate your room in a unique way. Open Pinterest and look for some décor inspo. You will find many I bet!
De-clutter your room ASAP, try arranging your wardrobe, curtains, your bed, and a night lamp. Filling your room with good vibes is important. The bedroom gives a mood. A vibe. If your room is clean and organized, you will definitely feel good. Also, It’s much easier to be productive when your working area is organized.
No doubt when you love it where you are, it’s easier to come up with new ideas.
7. Create a vision board
Vision Board? What are they? “A collage of images and words representing a person’s wishes or goals, intended to serve as inspiration or motivation”.
Visualization and believing in your ambitions are something that the universe can notice. If you really want to receive something, start living it. If you want to become a police officer in the future… visualizing that now. It’s small steps that can help you to clear your way faster.
8. Start planning your week
I know everything can’t be planned. But a week? Or just the next 3days? It can be a lil easy right? Make a list, write some tasks and start scheduling them. If you really want to learn something, learn self-discipline first. Plan your days and start working on your dreams.
9. Workout routine
You don’t have to go to the gym to achieve that perfect body goal. You can make your own workout routine and just follow it daily. I don’t understand why people are not taking exercise and fitness seriously.
It’s also an important task and we must take care of our bodies. It’s not about appearance or how we look but… It’s about health and that damn confidence when you get your dream body.
I consider this in my personal development plan. Because I think if you are fit physically and mentally then you can produce unique ideas. It also helps to maintain focus on your work and life. Develop for 10 min. Workout routine at least and see the results.
I swear when you complete a day one workout task you will feel like you have accomplished a big goal. And that thing will give you motivation.
10. Get out of your comfort zone
We don’t grow when things are easy. We grow when we face challenges.
Comfort zones are good places, we feel good, everything feels perfect but honestly, we can’t grow there. We have to step out of it. Scared of the camera? Go record yourself, try talking to the camera. Only practice can make you better. Don’t like dogs? Try giving them some cookies. Rub your hand on their stomach and see how much love you can get from them.
My point is simple: If you don’t try something, how will you know whether it’s good or bad? That’s why. First, try it. Try it anyway!
11. Polish your talent
Do you like to dance? To sing? To draw? To bake something tasty? Then upgrade your talent as much as you can. If these things make you happy, do it. Never stop practicing your hobbies. Stay with them, give them time. Maybe you can monetize your hobbies in the future too! Who knows, Right?
I hope you enjoyed this post. Kindly share it with your friends and family if you find this helpful!

This was an excellent post! You covered so much ground here. A vision board is a very good idea as it helps you focus on your dreams, hopes, and goals. It is a visual reminder that you see all the time. Sometimes, when you create a vision board, something sparks your interest that you were not even thinking about in the first place. 🙂
I agree 🙂
