GUEST POST | The idea of manifesting is becoming more accepted, and it is being practiced more and more. Manifestation is a brilliant thing, and it can work in wonderful ways. There are many different manifestation methods that you can use, some can take a little longer and some you can easily fit into your day, you just have to find what works for you.

Today I wanted to talk and explain a little more about scripting, one of my favourite methods! It is also one of the most common methods so it will most likely fit around anyone’s schedule. Manifestation can work however you want it to work so it is well worth giving it a go when you can!

What is manifestation?

Manifestation is the idea that you are asking the universe to help you with your goals and dreams. You are speaking things into existence. It is part of the law of attraction, it works through belief.

With positive thinking you can manifest pretty much anything you want. As long as you continue to work towards your goals. For example, if you are trying to manifest all A’s in you’re a levels, then you are going to need to continue to revise and work towards your good grades. But what will help with this is your positive mind set.

What is scripting?

Scripting is a certain type of manifestation. Scripting is where you take your goals, and you write them down. You can do this is the past or present tense, whatever helps you the most.

The idea is, when you write something down, it becomes a key idea that will be at the front of your mind. It will keep you pushing to achieve your goals. It is all about positivity! You have to try your hardest to stay away from any negative thoughts as they can completely reset your mindset which is not what you want when you are trying to manifest something.

If you are struggling for ideas on what to write, check out this post on How to write a manifest list. Try not to get disheartened if things don’t go your way, these things take time. It takes on the idea that the universe is helping you to achieve the things you strive for.

A scripting example:

An example I use to explain scripting is this: say you goal is to purchase your dream car; you can write this in the past tense and say, “I own my dream car”. This way you are speaking (or writing) your goals into existence. You sentences can be as long or as short as you like. You can even turn your sentence into a whole scenario.

Alternatively, you can write down your script in the present tense, for example, “I will own my dream car”. You can use which ever method works for you. This method is great if you have lots of mini goals that you want to achieve. So, you can write these down one after the other in the present tense.

You can mix and match these methods and make your script as long or as short as you like. There is no right or wrong with manifesting.

Use your journal

A good way to track your goals is to write them down in a journal. Your goals can be long-term or short-term, or you can have both! With scripting, it makes sense to write these goals don over and over, as frequently as you feel you need to. You could write down a sentence every morning when you wake up to get you focused for the day. Or you could do this at the start of every week.

Using a journal means you can keep all of your dreams and goals in one place. Another great manifestation technique that uses a journal is the 369 method which is very similar to scripting but has to be done at set times of each day. So, it can be a little more intense if this is something you would be more into.

Track your progress

By using a journal, you will be able to track any progress you have made. When I want to manifest a big goal of mine. I find it easier to write down lots of mini steps (or mini goals) that will lead me to achieving my big goal.

You journal can be used to track these steps and see how much progress you have made all ready. Remember, any type of progress no matter how small is a step in the right direction and should be celebrated.

Go over your script

As mentioned earlier, it is important to go over your script. A good idea is to read your script out loud and say it a couple of times whenever you do read it.

It would be no good if you write down your script and then forget about it. Scripting is about going over things to keep them in your mind. To keep you striving towards your goals.

Final Thoughts

Manifestation is a great thing and can be done in so many ways. Scripting is one of my favourite ways as you can do it as frequently as you like. If you are a busy person then opening your journal once a week when you have a bit of time will be all you need to keep you going. If you are someone who needs to read your script every day, then go for it!

If you’re someone who struggles to believe in manifestation, then why not give it a go and see how it works. If anything, it will put you in a positive mindset and will get you super driven to achieving your goals!
