ad // As we head into a new year, most of us think about our personal development goals for the next 12 months. Over the last few years, I have uncovered so much about myself that I didn’t even realise was there, under the surface. And I have a clearer vision that ever of where I want to go in the future.
BUT, personal growth has no finish line. And I think that’s the beauty of it. We are ALWAYS growing. Always changing. Always learning and adapting. Our values and goals may change over time and that’s okay. Different seasons of our lives require different things from us. And if the last year wasn’t a year of self growth and clarity for you, that’s a-okay my love.
So wherever you sit on the personal growth scale right now is okay. Our personal development journeys are just that – journeys. They will speed up and slow down. They will hit bumps in the road (like 2020) and they will have beautiful, smooth-sailing moments as well. Those moments are coming. Trust me.

This is obviously a LOT of goal ideas and I’m by no means suggesting you need to think about doing all of them in a New Year. Perhaps pick one or two from each category or focus on the category that you need to improve on most. It’s likely that we all have different areas of life which are going better than others.
For some, their physical health might be incredible but clarity and vision for their life might be lacking. Or perhaps you’re super productive but are seriously lacking with self care. Whatever it is, remember that it’s totally fine and life ebbs and flows like that, so will these different areas!
I hope you find some helpful ideas for some personal development goals throughout this post an consider implementing them into your life. Of course it doesn’t have to be at the beginning of a year either – there’s no right or wrong time to introduce some new goals into your life!
What are your personal development goals right now? Will you be taking on any of these goals I’ve mentioned?
