ad | Valentine’s Day is approaching and if you have someone in your life that is a teacher, perhaps your partner, your sister or best friend, you’ll know that they thoroughly deserve to be treated this Valentine’s Day.

Teaching is hard work, a job that you have to be a certain type of person to be able to do. You have to be compassionate and patient, as well as respectable and knowledgeable among hundreds of other things in order to be a good teacher.

Not to mention the years of training beforehand. I do tip my metaphorical hat off to teachers because I really don’t know how they do it.

I tried training as a teaching assistant once and I struggled with that and ended up quitting. Working with children or young adults definitely isn’t for everyone so I think we should definitely take a moment to appreciate those that do.

Is your partner a teacher? Or perhaps your sister or your best friend? Whoever the teacher is in your life, consider treating them to something this Valentine’s Day as a token of your appreciation not only for them but for the work they do as well.

Valentine’s Gift Ideas for the Teacher in Your Life

New stationery

Teachers always need stationery so I think this would be a really lovely gift idea for Valentine’s Day for your loved one who’s a teacher. Think new notebooks, new pens, stickers for the class or maybe even a 100 piece custom puzzle of their favorite class and more!

A fun t-shirt

Fun teacher Valentine’s shirts could make an excellent gift idea for Valentine’s Day. As they’re appropriate to wear for school, this could also be a good learning opportunity to teach the children about love and kindness.

Is your teacher coming up to a big milestone? You could consider this 100 day teacher shirt as a unique gift as well or perhaps teacher bags might be more their thing.

A spa treatment

Anyone that works hard deserves a spa treatment every now and again and chances are, teachers don’t have much time for themselves for this. If you get them a voucher for a spa treatment, it’ll prompt them to make time for themselves, that they deserve. A full body massage, an Indian head massage, a manicure or hot stones are great options!

Home cooked meal

Sometimes it’s the simple things that make all the difference and a home cooked meal can do wonders. Dedicate a night to cooking them a lovely homemade meal to celebrate them this Valentine’s Day.

Book voucher

Most teachers love books, so you really can’t go wrong with a book voucher. This will allow them to get all the books on their wish list or maybe some new books for school they won’t have to pay for.

A beautiful bouquet

And finally, simple but always a winner, a beautiful bouquet always goes down a treat on Valentine’s Day. Flowers show love and appreciation and I don’t think anyone doesn’t appreciate a beautiful bouquet!

If you’re a teacher, I’d love to hear what types of gifts you like to get.
