ad | Easter is not typically the time for presents, unless it’s an Easter Egg. Which I obviously would never say no to but I think if you want to celebrate Easter a bit more, then there are an array of gift ideas which are a bit more interesting and unique than a bog-standard Easter Egg.

For religious folk, Easter is an important time of year as it marks Jesus’ resurrection. After he was crucified on the Friday, his body was taken down from the cross and put in an enclosed tomb, of which he was resurrected on the Sunday. Giving us Easter Sunday.

For us non-religious folk, Easter is also a time of year which is typically marked by some sort of celebration. Easter and Spring go hand in hand, so it can be a time of new beginnings, fresh starts and a beautiful new season.

Many families will get together on Easter, maybe go out for a nice walk or have a roast dinner and spend time with each other. Most businesses are also shut on Easter Sunday, with school’s having an Easter holiday as well.

So whether you’re religious or not, Easter is a pivotal point of the year. And we all need more reasons to celebrate, I think!

So here are 9 gift ideas for Easter:

Easter Eggs

Although I LITERALLY just said that there are more exciting things than Easter eggs, don’t think for a second that I don’t think we should give and receive them for Easter. Easter egg chocolate is better than regular chocolate.

A Trip To a Farm

If you have younger children (or just love animals) then this could be a nice way to spend a day over Easter and a nice gift to treat them to. Especially as there’s likely going to be lots of baby animals.

Christian T-shirts

If you’re religious, Easter will be an important time of year for you. And if you give and receive gifts over Easter, perhaps you might want to look at Christian t shirts. There are plenty of Christian tee shirts which cover different occasions, as well as Christian bags.

Easter / Spring Wreath

Spring wreaths are a beautiful addition to your home decor and would also make a lovely gift for someone to display in their home. Or perhaps even go to a wreath making workshop near you!

Spring Bouquet

Flowers are suitable for any and all occasions, including Easter. If you’re looking for an Easter gift for a loved one, they might like a beautiful Spring bouquet.

Easter Scented Candle

Seasonal candles are everywhere and won’t be hard to find! Get some freshness and fresh scents into your house and go with fragrance such as fresh linen or florals.

Bunny Mug

Mugs are a great gift for any occasion – Easter too. This bunny mug from M&S would be a cute gift.

Food Hamper

Easter is a time to get together, share food and drink and have a laugh with your loved ones. So a food hamper would be an excellent gift idea for this occasion and it can be used during those family get togethers.

Afternoon Tea

And finally, if you’re really looking to treat someone, perhaps an afternoon tea would be a good Easter gift idea. Spring is the perfect time for afternoon tea!

Which of these Easter gift ideas would you choose?
