Lazy Summer day essentials ft. Beats Headphones

Despite being the type of person that’s always working on something, sometimes in the dead of Summer it gets far too hot to be able to lift a finger. I tried to take blog photos in the UK’s 31 degree heat the other day and I nearly died. 10/10 would not recommend. And if you’re in the UK right now you’ll be very much aware that we’re in the middle of one of the longest, hottest periods some of us have probably ever seen! Whether you love it or hate it, we all need those super lazy Summer Days where the only thing we achieve is the ultimate Summer selfie: sunglasses, cute messy bun, headphones (such as a pair of the super glamorous rose gold Beats Headphones) and a glass of Prosecco. Cos damn… it’s too hot to do anything else.

Why I’ve changed my mind about adult colouring books

I did not buy into the adult colouring book hype, when it came into fruition a while ago. Of course when I was a kid I would use colouring books, painting by numbers and all sorts of fun, crafty things. But you know, I grew up. Like everyone else. I wasn’t interested in these things anymore. I wanted to listen to music, play video games, go out with my friends. I know that it can get unhealthy. We all need down-time. Every single one of us.

Always being the go-girl

If you were to compare me with any character on TV, it’d probably be a cross between Monica Gellar (from F.r.i.e.n.d.s) and Bree Van Der Kamp (from Desperate Housewives). If I was a mother (which I’m not and not planning to be anytime soon), I would be that mum who’s the head of the PTA, hosts bake sales, play dates among other events, has a job, a house, hobbies and thinks it’s also a good idea to buy an allotment. I’m not but in my vision for my future, that’s who I imagine myself to be. So what does that say about where I’m at now?

We all can get stressed at some point in our lives. Going on holiday is a top way to combat stress. Just make sure it’s planned correctly otherwise, if it becomes stressful, you will miss out on the benefits of the nice break! Here are some ideas of holidays you can go on to beat stress.

Yoga Break

You might want to consider going on a yoga break to beat stress in your life. Yoga is a fantastic way of helping your mind and body relax. A yoga break will allow you to complete the exercises in a peaceful environment. You are likely to pick up some new skills during the weekend. You will also meet others who are also trying to relax. It’s a very chilled break which will allow you to reflect on your issues. You are bound to go home feeling a lot more positive about the future.
