You’re probably aware of the fact that hit American TV show F.R.I.E.N.D.S (that took me so long to type omg) was added to Netflix at the beginning of this year. Everywhere you looked, people were shouting it from the rooftops. Netflix users were finally being graced with one of the most loved shows to ever be made. It took me a good few months to finally get around to start watching it again; just through being too busy and having too many other shows on the go. But in May, I finally did it. I committed, once again, to 10 glorious seasons of Friends (I cba with that again). And when I started watching it again, I was certainly surprised at what thoughts popped up.
I think you’ll agree with me when I say the ‘cosy night in‘ the new ‘big night out‘. I’ve been championing the ‘night in‘ since I hit my 20’s when I realised I’d much rather be in my fleecy pyjama bottoms, eating a pizza and watching my favourite shows rather than getting pushed and shoved around in a hot, crowded club where your shoes get stuck to the floor amiright? Why would you when in this age of technology we’re in now, there’s so much going for the night in. Food can be ordered on our phone at the push of a button (or 12, if you’re me ordering from the Domino’s website and want all of the sides) and our favourite movies and shows can be watched on TV’s such as the 4KTV Panasonic in such high quality we may as well be at the cinema.
I’ve seen this A-Z of me post scattered around the blogosphere quite a lot recently; and I’m not surprised. It’s a lovely, simple post to let people know a little more about you. I pinched the idea off of Fraser’s Fun House (who’s blog is fantastic, hint hint mummy and lifestyle bloggers, go and check it out!) and thought it would be a good idea to do as my follower count has grown substantially since the last time I did any sort of “get to know me” or “facts about me” type post which have been lost in the ether by now. So, let’s get going. A-Z of me and please excuse any of these which are ridiculous because chances are I couldn’t think of anything beginning with that letter.
I’m a keen series watcher and always have been. Most of the time I’ll prefer watching a series than a movie because I find you can get so much more invested in the characters and the story of a show compared to a film (unless it’s like 7 films long cough cough Harry Potter). There’s nothing I love more than finding a brand new series that I’m hooked on from the beginning but there’s also something super special about re-watching your old favorites. My boyfriend and I were talking about our favourite shows the other night which is what prompted this post and I can’t wait to chat shows and series with you in the comments! Here are some of my all-time faves.
