GUEST POST | I’ve owned a variety of crystals for some time now and although I don’t use them as much as I used to (nor as much as I’d like), I do still love having them at my disposal for when I really need them. I’ve never talked about crystals on my blog before, so I’m thrilled to welcome Soph here today to share her top 3 crystals for self confidence!
Hey guys! First of all, a huge thank you to Jenny for giving me the opportunity to guest post on her blog. I’ve been reading this blog for a few years now and it’s one of my faves so I’m super excited to be writing a post for you guys!
So, this post is going to look at the top 3 crystals to increase self-confidence and growth that I like to use. It’ll also include some examples of how you can use crystals to benefit your own mental health and wellbeing, as they’ve honestly changed my life so much.
Why not start strong with one of my favourite crystals?! Carnelian is a brown/red/orange crystal that’s mainly used for self-confidence. Many people carry this crystal around with them or wear it on their body as a bracelet or necklace as they prefer it to touch their skin.
The main benefits of Carnelian are:
If you wear carnelian, for example on a necklace, ring or bracelet, you may notice these benefits:
- Clearer skin
- Stronger immune system
- Improved memory
- Better sleep
- Enhanced vision
If you’d like to encourage abundance in your life, it’s recommended to have a Carnelian stone in the south side of your house. If you’d like to boost creativity and motivation, it could be helpful to place a Carnelian in your office / home office / wherever you work. To improve fertility and sexual confidence, you can leave a Carnelian in the bedroom. This is because Carnelian is connected to the lower chakras.
Malachite is a healing crystal and also one of my favourites in my collection. It’s a green crystal that has swirls all over it ranging from a lighter to darker green. It’s a protection stone as it absorbs toxic and negative energy from within and around you.
It’s undeniably one of the prettiest crystals and has some pretty cool benefits too, such as:
- Rebalances mood swings
- Encourages risk taking
Since Malachite is used commonly as a protection stone, many miners carry it with them when they’re underground. Similarly, many pilots carry it with them when they’re flying to add that extra protection throughout the flight.
Malachite is associated to the heart and throat chakra. This means it helps open up your heart to accept more self-love, confidence and positivity. It allows you to accept love from others and allows you to unconditionally love those around you. Furthermore, it provides you with the confidence to be more outspoken and communicate more clearly.
If you’re interested in crystals at all, this is probably one you’ve heard of. It’s a super popular one because of it’s beauty and wonderful properties. If you’re aiming to promote self love, acceptance, and confidence, this is the one for you!
Here are some benefits of Rose Quartz:
- Self love
- Romantic love
- Increased empathy
Rose Quartz is linked to the heart chakra and is associated with earth signs, particularly Taurus and Libra (I’m a Taurus so I guess that explains why I love it so much!) It’s a good stone to help attract self love and romantic love into your life as it opens the heart chakra and helps with your self-confidence and acceptance.
So, there we have it! Those are my top 3 crystals to increase self-confidence and growth. These crystals can benefit your life simply by being placed under your pillow when you sleep, on a desk in your room, or worn as jewellery so it’s close to your body. I hope you guys found this post helpful and thank you again to Jenny for allowing me to guest post on her blog!
Do you use crystals? Which are your favourites? Do you have any to add to this list? Let me know in the comments!
