I think subscription boxes are one of the most common things you see being reviewed on blogs these days. From beauty, food, books and even period care boxes, there seems to be a subscription box for absolutely anything you could possibly want. Beauty subscription boxes are certainly the most popular of the lot with the big giants like Birchbox and Glossybox uk cropping up everywhere you look. However the one main let down of these boxes which I see time and time again in people’s reviews is when they receive a box with a few products they wouldn’t use in it. That’s always been my main reason for never going ahead and paying for a subscription of a beauty subscription box because I’m worried that the products won’t be for me and it’ll be a waste of money (I’m not just tight but you get my reasoning).
Ever since I was 12 or 13 years old and entered my “grunger” phase of life, I have loved eyeliner. Granted, my eyeliner looks have changed quite dramatically over the years and whilst I no longer look like a literal panda, I do still enjoy using eyeliners of different brands and shades. I mostly only use it if I’m going out out and I definitely use it less in the Spring and Summer (because let’s face it, my hay fever is so damn bad it’ll get rubbed off within 10 minutes anyway) but I still like experimenting with different looks and colours.
I love trying new products and having a blog has allowed me to try a whole range of products which I probably wouldn’t have heard of before, which I’m very grateful for. PAIRFUM is a chic collection of organic products, which range from skincare to candles, room sprays and more. With quite a focus on scents, all their products come in a range of scents which are fresh, feminine or floral and would leave your room (or body!) smelling absolutely delicious. I was kindly sent two of the PARIFUM skin care products to try and test and here are my thoughts!
My hair has been through a lot in my mere 25 years. I’m have naturally auburn hair but it’s seen the affects of severe bleaching, going bald from wearing too many hair extensions (yes, really) and going from almost to my bum to 2 inches long and every length and style in between. My hair has stayed it’s natural colour for a good few years now and I’m not planning on changing that any time soon and it’s back to a length I like but I’m still aware of the importance of taking care of your hair and always keen to try new hair products.
