Bodleian Library

Bodleian Library is one of the oldest libraries in the world and it’s also one of the most beautiful. The architecture both inside and outside is stunning and this would make for one SERIOUSLY romantic date idea! This library was also used as the Infirmary in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone!

Christ Church

To continue this romantic scene, a trip to Christ Church should definitely be on your list of things to do during a date. Imagine a warm Summer day, strolling through these beautiful buildings with your date? With incredible architecture and beautiful gardens, this would make an amazing date location. Oh, it was also used to film a ton of Harry Potter scenes, too!

Bicester Village

Fancy some shopping and lunch? For a much more chilled out date Bicester Village could be a great date options for you. Filled with designer outlets, with reductions of up to 60% of standard retail price, Bicester Village really is a shoppers paradise! A day of mooching around these beautiful shops, a nice lunch and perhaps a treat or two, could make for a lovely date.

Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace is absolutely stunning to look at. And it would also make a great date idea for you and your boo. Home to the 12th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace is an absolute wonder. It also houses one of the most finest collections of antiques in Europe.

Heythrop Zoological Gardens

I always have some sort of animal based activity on these lists because these are the type of days out I enjoy the most. If you’re in Oxfordshire and fancy a day with the animals, then Heythrop Zoological Gardens will be the one for you on this list. Meet wolves, slots, hippos and more or even book yourself in for an animal encounter!
