Ad – This is a paid advertorial but all thoughts are my own

I’m back with another date ideas post today, after really enjoying writing and researching for the previous two I did for Hampshire and Staffordshire. Today’s location is one that I’m a bit more familiar with, so I can recommend some places I’ve actually been to, which I think would make lovely date ideas in Lincolnshire!

Prior to 2014, I’d never been to Lincolnshire. But when I got together with my partner, who had lived there for a number of years with his family, I started to visit regularly. Although he predominantly lived with us (and permanently lives with us now), his parents and grandparents still live in Lincolnshire, so we always have an excuse to visit!

Lincolnshire is a HUGE county and of course I’ve only seen a very small amount of it compared to what else there is to offer. But in this post, I’m going to be suggesting some date ideas in Lincolnshire that I’ve been to, that I think would make fun date locations!

If you’re ready to get back into the world of dating and you’re in the Lincolnshire area, this Lincolnshire dating site is perfect for you if you want to start local Lincolnshire dating. If you’re looking for fun date ideas, then these suggestions are perfect if you either live in Lincolnshire or are able to travel a couple of hours to reach them!

6 fun date ideas in Lincolnshire:

Visit the Kinema in the Woods

The Kinema is SO COOL. And cute. A cinema date is a popular date option but I think it’s safe to say that most cinemas look and feel the same and offer the same sort of experience. The Kinema is vastly different. Tucked away in the woods, the Kinema has been standing since the late 19th century and first started showing films on 11th September 1922. In the lobby it has tons of old movie memorabilia and some showings even offer an intermission with an organ player! It really is a cute experience!

Go for a stroll around Woodhall Spa

And whilst you’re at the Kinema, you might as well make the most of gorgeous Woodall Spa, the village where the Kinema is situated. A historic spa town, Woodhall is super charismatic and has tons of charm. It’s lined with shops, cute cafes and has a wonderful bookshop there too (which I’ve spent plenty of time in!) and is a great place to have a super chilled day with your date.

See Lincoln Cathedral

Lincoln Cathedral is seriously stunning and an impressive piece of architecture. It can also be a super romantic place to take a date. I’ve never been inside the Cathedral but I’d absolutely love to one day. But from the outside alone, I was still pretty blown away by it. It’s located in the middle of Lincoln, which is another great city for a date. So you can definitely combine seeing the Cathedral with a few other things!

Eat at Cote in Lincoln

I’m a huge fan of the Cote restaurants. French cuisine? Yes please! And there’s a beautiful Cote branch in Lincoln which is well worth eating at if you don’t mind splurging a little bit and you’re on a super special and romantic date! It’s also not far from the Cathedral, so a post-dinner walk around the Cathedral could be a super lovely evening.

Ancaster go-karting and paintball

If you’re both adrenaline junkies, then this option is for you! Ancaster Leisure has a ton of mega fun outdoor activities to get your heart pumping and the competitive streaks flowing! Go-karting, paintballing or quad biking could be an option. They also have a bowling alley too, if you need a break from all the competition!

Lincolnshire Wildlife Park

As a huge zoo lover and lover of animals, there has to be a zoo of some sort on this list! Lincolnshire Wildlife Park is based in Boston and is a great park to visit and perfect for a cute little date. They also have a huge selection of parrots and birds, of which Derren Brown is a patron!

Have you ever been to any of these places for a date in Lincolnshire? Which one would you like to visit? Let me know!
