I love personalised cakes – I think they make any event or occasion that little bit more special and I can remember many birthdays where my mum has bought a big cake and had a giant photo of my stupid face printed on top! Eat Your Photo offer just that – they make a selection of cakes which you can have personalised with a photo of your choice on top and I received some of their yummy goodies in the post with my edible blog logo on top and they looked utterly beautiful.

From start to finish, the process was flawless. I sent my blog logo over to Eat Your Photo and just 3 days later, they were knock, knock, knocking on my door. I was so impressed with how they arrived – no squashing or battering in transit and they turned up looking completely flawless.

I was so terribly impressed with how my logo looked on top of these gorgeous little cakes. Sometimes, when printing photos especially on food, it can look a little distorted but my logo looked perfect! They were the perfect size, too. Great to have with a cuppa tea in the afternoon!

I finally tucked into one after I took some photos – the moment of truth – they were absolutely delicious. Like, words can’t even describe delicious but they’re going to have to because I need to talk about them. Let’s put it this way, Betty Crocker’s ready made cake-mix… Eat your heart out!

The ratio of cake to frosting was spot on. The sponge was absolutely beautiful – light and fluffy and tasted amazing. I’m not one that pays too much attention to the sponge in a cake – I’m firmly an icing gal – but this was magnificent. The frosting was incredibly sweet and creamy and the marzipan for the photo tasted just like birthday cake! So much nostalgia.

I was terribly impressed with every aspect of my experience with Eat Your Photo. They offer lots of different goodies from large, celebration cakes, to cupcakes, to brownies and cookies. Even… And I hyperventilate slightly when I say this… Even pizzas! Yes, they do personalised pizza. All for a reasonable price and outstanding quality.
