Although Father’s Day and Mother’s Day and a variety of other specialized “days” certainly aren’t the most important thing in the world right now considering everything that’s happened this year so far – I’m all for a special day to show someone how much we love them. Yes, granted, we should do that every day. But there’s nothing like a few special gifts on Father’s Day to show our appreciation, which I’m sure you’ll find inspiration for in my Father’s Day gift guide!

Father's Day Gift Guide

I personally love these types of days. I just love an excuse to spoil those I love and I often go a bit OTT. Even if we don’t physically do anything or go anywhere, I always like to make the effort to get them something special. If you’re struggling for Father’s Day gift ideas this year, stick with me!

Ready for my Father’s Day Gift Guide that’s full of inspiration for all kinds of Dad’s out there?

For the cheese loving Dad: Dad’s Curvy Cheeseboard – Edge Inspired £26.00

I’ve worked with Edge Inspired before on a few gift guides and have also purchased from them myself around Christmas so I can definitely confirm the quality of their products is fantastic! Their Dad’s Curvy Cheeseboard is a great feature for my gift guide because I think we all love a cheeseboard (and no, they’re not just for Christmas!) These boards make a really lovey personal gift and you just know Dad will bust it out at the next get together!

For the fashion loving Dad: Shon Brown Leather Belt – TrendHim £45

A belt is something you really can’t go wrong with when it comes to gift giving. Most men wear jeans and ultimately a belt and a brand new belt makes an excellent gift – especially one of such high quality and leather like this example of the Shon Brown Leather Belt from TrendHim, a Danish eCommerce brand who sell beautiful accessories for men, including belts, hats, watches, jewellery and more.

For the photography loving Dad: Photography Experiences – Paul David Smith

Sometimes I find that experiences make equally as amazing gifts. Gift the gift of photography this Father’s Day by allowing him to join a professional photographer on a tailor made 1-2-1 photography experience day. These unique experiences ran by Paul David Smith are designed to both educate and entertain whilst ensuring he captures some stunning images.

So whether you think you dad might enjoy photographing warriors in a forest kitted out in armour, mermaids on a beach or models floating on airbeds in the middle of a lake for a real lesson in storytelling photography, you’ll be sure to find an experience he’ll remember for a long time to come.

For the fun loving Dad: Personalised Face on Socks – Prezzybox £19.99

My Dad is a big ol’ goof. A lot of Dad’s are, I think. So I know he’ll just love these socks of my stupid face. I love anything personalised and I always make a point of getting my loved ones at least one personalised gift for any occasion. If you’re looking for something funny but also PRACTICAL, then these Personalised Face on Socks from, Prezzybox (one of my fave shops!) will do you right!

For the chocolate loving Dad: Personalised Toblerone Bar – Prezzybox £12.99

Another product from Prezzybox because I just can’t recommend them enough and that’s the Personalised Toblerone Bar. Again, another personalised gift but one that he can eat with a nice cuppa on a Sunday afternoon. The perfect gift for all chocolate enthusiasts and one that will – quite literally – go down really well. Chocolate or anything sweet always makes a good gift, don’t you think?

For the active Dad: White Swallows Steel Water Bottle – Ohelo £30.00

Another practical gift idea for those that prefer giving gifts that you know your Dad will get a ton of use out of. In today’s world with the importance of doing our bit to help the planet, these Steel Water Bottles from Ohelo would be the ideal present for any Dad who’s always on the go, loves exercising or perhaps working in the garden. With different colours and designs to choose from!

For the sports loving Dad: Badminton Rackets Starter Set – Badminton HQ – £21.99

I think equipment, especially for something that someone loves, is always a good shout for a gift because firstly, you know they’ll use them and secondly, you’re giving them something they can experience. Such as playing a sport. This Ashaway AM – 200 Starter Badminton Set from Badminton HQ could be a perfect gift for a sport loving Dad!

For the artsy Dad: Pop Up Cards – Cardology from £7.50

No great occasion is complete without a greeting card but what about if you can make your card that extra special and a whole gift in itself? Well, with Cardology, you can do that. Their FANTASTIC pop up cards not only make a special card for that special loved one but also can make a great gift for afterwards too. They have so many amazing cards, you’ll be ogling over them for ages but here’s their collection of Father’s Day Cards to choose from!

For the wine loving Dad: Francone Barolo 2015, Decanter Silver Medal – Independent Wine £34.95

Independent Wine is a specialist importer of boutique fine wine from Italy. We hand-pick wines with an independent proof of quality: international awards or highest expert ranking. Independent Wine works directly with wine producers, without any involvement by middlemen, and many of the bottles we stock are UK-exclusive.

The particular wine which would make a great gift this Father’s Day, is the Barolo DOCG – often described as Italy’s greatest red wine, and this Decanter Silver Medal winner is one of the best examples on the market today. It combines grapes from La Morra and Monforte, two of the five most prized cru-villages in Barolo DOCG. Grapes from La Morra bring richness and power, and this is balanced by Monforte’s elegance and freshness.

For the treat loving Dad: Manly Gift Baskets For Men

Who doesn’t love a treat? My final suggestion for this gift guide is the amazing array of gift baskets from manlymanco.com! These gift baskets would make a great gift, especially for the Dad who loves to munch on jerky with his beer!

I hope you gathered some good inspiration from my Father’s Day Gift Guide this year! Would you choose any of these products to gift your Dad (or Dad figure) for Father’s Day?

  1. I’m so rubbish at remembering Father’s Day! However, this has just given me SUCH good ideas, especially the pop-up card! My dad actually volunteers at a steam railway so the train card has got his name written all over it! x

  2. Such good ideas! I absolutely loved those socks haha, I know so many people who would appreciate those.

  3. Those socks are SO CUTE. I’m really struggling with ideas for mine this year with the whole lockdown situation, I’ve only seen him once since February so I haven’t really had a chance to drop some not so subtle hints either this year x

  8. Excellent suggestions Jenny! I got my dad a few lovely things from Moonpig including a bottle of gin and an adoption certification for a spitfire! But I have to say I love the idea of the steel water bottle. My dad is always on the go and never seems to drink anything but coffee (the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree), so it would be a lovely gift to remind him to hydrate.

  9. This is a great list! There are some things I haven’t even thought about. I love those crafty cards, they’d be amazingly fun to put together. Thank you for sharing this list, I love how personal some of the things are!
