If you use the Yoga With Adriene YouTube channel, you’ll be familiar with Adriene and her gentle, friendly and fun way of teaching Yoga. Her personable and down-to-Earth approach attracts millions of Yogi’s from all different walks of life, from all over the world. She has built an empire. And the majority of that empire, is completely free for us to access. But today I want to talk about the benefits of the FWFG membership.
The fact that she offers so much incredible free content is amazing. There’s obviously so much work that goes into her YouTube channel and whilst she might have a team behind her, that wasn’t always the case. Like most of us, she started out online with a small following, instead of teaching Yoga to the masses.
Yoga completely transformed my life. I started practicing Yoga when I was more or less first diagnosed with my anxiety disorder. When I couldn’t leave the house. When I had lost all my frineds. When I didn’t have a job. And absolutely no prospect or hope for the future. I had read that Yoga can help with anxiety – and I was looking for ANYTHING to help.
But over time, Yoga ended up being much more to me than just something to take the edge off of my anxiety. Yoga, eventually, for all intents and purposes, became a lifeline. A safe space. A journey and an exploration. It became something that allowed me to feel more “me” than I ever had done before.
And not to mention it’s improved my strength, helped my lower back pain, flexibility and overall health tenfold, too!
I’ve been an avid user of Yoga With Adriene for around a decade but this year I decided to enhance my Yoga journey to the platform one step further and sign up for the FWFG Membership. The FWFG Membership is a paid-for extension of her channel, which explores Yoga and different aspects of the practice is more detail.
Here are 10 reasons why you need the FWFG Membership if you’re an avid Yogi:
You can do a free trial first!
Like most good membership platforms, the FWFG membership allows you to do a 7 day free trial first. Which is perfect to give you some time to see if you like it and whether it will benefit you. I did the free trial and I knew I needed to continue with it, based on the practices I did during that week. You can start your free trial here.
You get everything all in one place
All the amazing Yoga With Adriene YouTube practices are on the membership too, so you get ALL of Adriene’s videos (and more) in one handy place. There’s a handy “favourites” tab as well, where you can “like” your favourite videos and series to access them quickly.
There’s exclusive content not on the YouTube channel
Of course one of the main reasons for signing up to the membership was the exclusive content. I love Adriene’s channel but I love the exclusive practices on the membership even more! When you use the channel as much as I do, you do find you’re doing the same practice over and over again. So it’s nice to have even more variety.
It’s more to-the-point Yoga
I don’t know if this one is just me but I feel like the way Adriene approaches her practices for the membership is slightly different the the YouTube channel. I feel like her explanations and teaching style is more to-the-point and that’s perhaps because people signed up to the membership are already Yogi’s potentially.
You have access to different teachers
There’s not only Adriene on the app either! She has plenty of guest teachers on the platform to teach Yoga and various other aspects of Yoga and wellness which is fantastic to introduce you to different voices in the industry and learn even more.
You can use the filter to find exactly what you need
There’s a great filter, which allows you to choose various things you want from the practice. Do you want to do a FWFG exclusive? Do you want Adriene as your teacher or someone else? How long do you want your practice to be? What ability level? What focus? Meditation? Strength? It’s fantastic!
You get monthly vlogs from Adriene
As well as videos on the mat, you get videos OFF THE MAT from Adriene as well. Which is particularly great for anyone who follows Adriene for her presence in the well-being industry, as well as the Yoga.
There’s more series to choose from
If you’re a fan of Adriene’s series, then there are many more, usually shorter, series of Yoga practices to choose from on the app. Two of my favourites are RISE and REST. Two series dedicated to practices for the morning and the evening before bed.
You can access it via the app or the website
A practical aspect of the membership but you can access via the website or they have a handy dedicated app, which I think a lot of people would like.
There’s more than just Yoga
I think it’s pretty obvious from everything I’ve said that there’s much more than just the on-the-mat Yoga in this membership. It’s your one stop shop for all things Yoga, meditation and wellness. There videos about chakras, journaling, training videos to help you improve things like posture.
The monthly membership fee is $12.99 a month, which if you use it as much as I do, is so worth it. It’s also a great way to give back to a channel that gives so much to us, so if you’re looking to enhance your Yoga journey then I would highly recommend!

Thank you for sharing all of this information. it is nice to know how this workout can be tailored to individual needs. 🙂
To a degree you can absolutely find workouts for specific needs!
I am not an avid yogi myself, but have used some of Adrienne’s Youtube videos before and I know Fred loves her so I will pass this onto her and hopefully convince her to sign up!
Hopefully she does!
I loooooove Adriene. She is such a sweetie! I’ve not watched any of her videos for a while but in 2015 I went through a big Yoga stage and did the first 30 days of Yoga challenge she did in January!

That’s a shame! Maybe you just weren’t doing the right sort of ones – some can definitely be a bit slow if you’re not into that !
I love it when a programme gives you a free trial first as there’s nothing worse than signing up for something and it being a waste of time! This sounds amazing, I’ve heard some really good benefits for yoga so this sounds like it’ll be beneficial to a lot of people. Thank you so much for sharing this lovely. You’ve shared some very persuading reasons Xo

I haven’t heard of this online yoga instructor before. She sounds awesome. I should check out her videos on YouTube. I’m planning to try yoga and make it a hobby. Thank you for sharing.
Definitely check her out on YouTube x
I love Adrienne and yoga so this is a no brainer for me. I’ve taken several of her classes, and if you need to work out from home, I agree. She’s amazing.
Yes totally agree!
I haven’t ever tried yoga before, but it has always interested me as so many people recommend the practice. A free trial is always helpful to try it out and see if it is something that you like. Thank you for sharing.

You should definitely give it a go on YouTube for free!
I love yoga. I also practise it to help with my anxiety. When you get into it, it feels like the energy is moving around your body – do you experience this too? I have tried Yoga with Adriene – I agree, she has a very friendly down to earth vibe going on. I haven’t signed up to her program though – will check it out. Thanks for sharing.
