Miscellaneous

This month has been pretty amazing blogging, reading, writing and book-wise. I won an “Honourable Mention” award in Becca & Tay’s Book Bloggers Awards which was amazing! You can read my post about it here. I also had my 2nd Blogoversary and there are tons of giveaways still going on for the next month which you can find here! I also reached 2,000 Twitter followers which was awesome, got a new blog banner and made some changes to Neverland Blog Tours, which was all new and exciting.

Away from the blogging world, my holiday in May to the Lake District is all booked and paid so I’ve been making lists after lists after lists of stuff I need to take with me! I’m so excited as I’ve never been before and am hoping to get some blog posts written about it when I get back! I’ve also started watching Once Upon a Time again as it’s just been put on Netflix – I was in dire need of a new show to watch and this may just be it!

How was your March? Did you receive any awesome book post or have you read any of the books mentioned above? If so, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Also, what are you plans for the coming month?

    1. Ahhhh I’m SO EXCITED to read that one! It sounds SO GOOD and weird and mysterious! Glad to hear you had a good month! 12 books!? That’s 3 books a week! You’re a reading machine! xx

  1. Great month for me, bookwise, and won the Matt Haig book in a competition. It’s an important book, I think. As ever, more coming in than I’m reading…and way behind on reviews! Jenny, next year, come to Scotland on holiday! x

    1. Ooh that’s fab news Linda! I’ve heard so many great things about that book, you’re so lucky to have won it! It sounds like a incredibly important book from what I’ve heard! Uh-oh, I’m behind on blog posts too – it happens! Ooh, my best friend lives in Scotland, I might be heading up that way at the end of the year! Scotland looks beautiful 🙂 xx

  2. Oh my god Dorothy Koomson is my most favourite author ever! Have you gotten round to reading ‘That Girl from Nowhere’ yet? I’ve literally had it saved since it was announced & im pretty sure my mum has preordered it for me haha! I can’t wait to hear about all those books! It’s kind of a funny story, the dead wife’s handbook, the last days of rabbit Hayes & Elizabeth is missing look so so good! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on them 🙂

    Love Claire xx

    1. I haven’t read Dorothy Koomson’s new one yet, but I’m really excited! She’s a fantastic author; massive fan of her books and there’s always such good twists! I’ve reviewed Its Kind of a Funny Story and The Dead Wife’s Handbook already; I included links to the reviews next to the titles, if you wanted to see what I thought about those! 🙂 Rabbit Hayes and Elizabeth is Missing both sound amazing, I’m really excited to read those! Thanks for your comment! 🙂 xx

  3. I really want to read The Day we Disappeared and Reasons to Stay Alive too. What a fab haul you had last month. The Dorothy Koomson and Kate Atkinson books look great too.

    1. Those books have had SUCH good reviews! Can’t wait to get around to them 🙂 I’ll be happy to send you the other two when I’ve read them – if you haven’t got them by then – if you want, Gill! 🙂 xx

    1. I have had a pretty productive month! I’m really excited to get more into Once Upon a Time! So many people have recommended it and I’m a huge Disney / fairy-tale fan so I know I’m going to like it! xx

      1. I’ve only recently got Netflix and OUAT is the first thing I watched! I was gutted when it was dropped from the channel that was broadcasting it here on TV but now I can watch it whenever I want! I really hope you love it 🙂

  4. I LOVE the pictures you take for your blog, they’re so pretty 🙂 I definitely recommend The Year of Taking Chances and The Day We Disappeared for next month as they are great – I also want to read Don’t Turn Around as it sounds great and I’ve been enjoying a thriller lately!

Lovely post- what a brilliant month!

    1. Aww thank you so much Laura! I want to read those two SO BAD, I’ve heard such amazing things about them so I’m saving up to get my mitts on them! Doesn’t Don’t Turn Around look incredible?! It’s doing so well already! xxx

  5. I started watching Once Upon A Time, really loved it but then got bored. Found it a bit slow:( do you like crime/thriller books? If so, you should check out M.J Arlidge’s DI Helen Grace thriller series; Eeny Meeny, Pop Goes The Weasel & Doll House. More to come as well!:) xo

    1. Ooh really? That’s a shame! I actually started watching it a while ago but then stopped for some reasons but only got like 6 episodes in. Enjoying it so far but we’ll see!

I love crime/thriller books! I’ll make a note of those and check them out, thanks! xxx
