Last month, I wrote about the Fresh Fiction: Box Not To Miss subscription box I received from the fantastic guys at Cratejoy. They specialise in all things subscription box and have a massive amount of different boxes to suit all types and interests on their site. This month, I was ever so lucky to receive another of their amazing boxes, this time it was the Nerdy Bookworm Box. I absolutely loved this box so let me share with you what goodies were inside!

Nerdy Bookworm Box 1

The theme for this box was ‘Book Boyfriends’. Now, I’m not one to shy away from a gorgeous book boyfriend or two or seven so I liked the idea of this but I will be completely honest and say I didn’t actually know any of the book boyfriends that the products were based upon. That’s not to say I didn’t absolutely adore the products, which I did. But I probably would have appreciated the ideas behind them more had I known the characters they were based upon. But anyway, onto the products and what I thought of them!

Let’s start with the main thing shall we? The book! Now, I’ve recently had a bit of involvement with Katharine and Elizabeth Corr when they agreed to write a guest post for me for my Mental Health Awareness Week in July. But I was quite surprised but happy to see I had received a copy of The Witch’s Kiss in my box! The cover is stunning and the book sounds fantastic, so I can’t wait to get started on this one.

My second favourite thing in the box was definitely this gorgeous print, which says, “It was books that made me feel like perhaps I wasn’t completely alone”, which I think is a beautiful quote and that’s definitely getting framed and put on my wall near my bookcase. I think it’ll be a really good new addition to my room!

The rest of the items in the box included: A candle, a pocket mirror, lip balm and a bath bomb and I absolutely love all of them. I’m not a huge user of bath bombs – simply because I don’t really like Lush and probably wouldn’t go out of my way to buy really fancy ones but this one looks amazing so I can’t wait to use it. The candle and the lip balm both smell gorgeous, too. Overall, I was really surprised with how much stuff I got in the box – it was like an early Christmas present, really!

If you want to check out all the amazing subscription boxes that Cratejoy sell, including this one, you can find them here. Let me know what you thought of this box and the main question is: Who is your ultimate book boyfriend?

* This product was sent to me in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. All thoughts and opinions here are my own and I would not recommend a brand or a product that I didn't absolutely love.

  1. My ultimate book boyfriend? That’s a tough one. I think I’d have to lean Wesley (aka The Dread Pirate Roberts) from The Princess Bride. Or Perrin Aybara from the Wheel of Time series.
…Not too romance-y or YA-y, but more my cup of tea. 🙂
